3M is the gold standard of household filters. My church has 3 HVAC systems. We plan to reopen on Thanksgiving 2020, and these new filters were installed. We did not reopen. By April 2021, it is time to replace the filters. Here is the picture of old vs new. The price of these filters has come down and I will be using these filters from now on and my own house.

Noticeably less dust in living area.

These are not the densest filters out there, but think about it - too much filtration makes it harder to move air, and the filter will clog more often. The 1900-level, then, seems like a good compromise. I change mine every 3-4 months, or when they are visually dirty. Only downside - why are these so expensive?

Great filter, easy to install, no one sees it

I do I rice a difference in the air quality with these as opposed to the cheaper air filters. The dust when it comes time to change the filter make your realize how much it actually stops. My only complaint isn’t with the product but with amazon. I found it for the same price at Costco, but at Costco it came with an extra filter. I defiantly would t go back to the other filters, whether it really does stop all those things it says it does I don’t know, but it sure does look nasty when replacing it.

The 14x24x1 fits perfectly. They usually last 3-4 months in our furnace.
