> 3 daySuper easy to use, you just place it in the empty dishwasher according to the instructions. The dishwasher practically sparkled when done, and it smelled great for a couple of days. This will become a regular thing.

> 3 dayWe have extremely hard water and when we moved in the dishwasher was completely covered with white hardwater residue. I thought it must be really old and would need replacement. At first I tried another brand of tablets and so no improvement. However after just one run with this cleaner pretty much 100% of the surface area exposed while the dishwasher was running came out sparkling clean. It surpassed all my expectations. My only regret was not getting a before picture to show how much it really did. I am not running it every couple of months to keep the dishwasher clean and in working order.

> 3 dayMaybe I just missed the detail, but I didnt realize this is just a one dose container so I thought it was maybe kinda pricey after I got it and read the instruction about using the whole bottle in one use. It works and its not like I can remember the last time I ran a cleaner through my machine. It looked OK but I thought to do a cleaning just on general principals since the Finish dish cleaning packets work well but Ive got a lotta well water in my rust and the plastic was looking a little bit dingey. It looks new now. DWG

> 3 dayWe have an older Kitchen Aid dishwasher in one house, with a stainless steel interior. I have been annoyed for years at the dried soap buildup around the door seal as well as on the top of the door. I honestly hadnt noticed any dullness to the stainless interior. At our other house, we have a newer Frigidaire dishwasher, with a plastic interior. The unit is less than a year old, and already, there was noticeable discoloration around the soap dispenser. On a lark, after reading some reviews here, I decided to give it a try on the Kitchen Aid, figuring that if it did a good job, Id then try it on the Frigidaire. I was amazed - with both interiors. The stainless is so bright, I hadnt realized how dull it had become. After one use, fully 75% of the buildup from the door seal was gone, and Im anticipating my next round to finish it off. The top of the door interior is also sparkling clean and clear of soap residue. In the Frigidaire, I was similarly pleased to see that all of the residue around the dispenser was gone after just the first application. Personally, I like the clean, fresh scent, though it is better (lighter, perhaps) with the stainless interior than with the plastic. My wife and daughters dont care for the scent, however, but nobody can argue about the cleaning results.

> 3 dayWe have two Bosch dishwashers in our kitchen. They are 20 years old and generally have done a great job over the years; however, they have been taking longer and longer to complete their cycles because of hard-water deposits on the heating elements. In most (or all) Bosch dishwashers, the heating element is inaccessible (which is great since no plastics can fall on it and melt), so its not possible to manually clean or inspect it. Hard-water minerals and other gunk build up on the heaters over time and decrease their heating ability while taking longer and using more energy to get through the cycle. I didnt take before images, but you can see how clean and sparkling everything is in my after images. The filter plug is image two, and this was after I degreased it. The fine mesh screen did not come fully clean with just the Finish cleaner. We used this cleaner as directed and the dishwasher is sparkling clean inside, smells very clean and fresh, and the racks glide in and out much more easily than before. I did not realize that the racks were resisting movement, but now that they are clean, they move with almost no effort even when fully loaded. The main stainless filter screen on the bottom of the tank did come sparkling clean, but the final filter screen did not. Its made of some sort of very fine plastic and still appealed to be somewhat clogged with grease, minerals, food debris, or perhaps a combination of them all after using the Finish dishwasher cleaner. I had to separately remove the filter and use a strong degreaser on it to get it totally clean, so next time I will do this ahead of using the Finish dishwasher cleaner product. I cant complain after 20 years of use and never cleaning the filter. I hope that by starting with a clean filter and with regular use of the Finish cleaner, it will not be necessary to clean the filters manually. The dishes are spotlessly clean now and the cycle is running about 20 minutes less than before cleaning, so we are saving time and money -- probably enough to offset the the cost of the Finish cleaner. For those who do not like scents, the product does have a fresh, but lingering, scent. After 2 cycles, the scent was gone, but the dishwasher is cleaning and working as if it were new. I never imagined that I would have to wash my dishwasher, but since I apparently do, Cinderfella here recommends this Finish dishwasher cleaner. PS -- one item of concern is this from the product listing: Do not mix with chlorine bleach or any other product as harmful fumes may result. We use Jet-dry rinse agent regularly, so there was some of that injected during the cycle. I assume no harmful fumes resulted. There is no way to turn off the rinse agent injector and no way to tell if its completely empty. Perhaps the vendor should address this concern and indicate if there is an issue with using Jet-Dry with the cleaner.

Greater than one weekIt’s so important to actually wash your dishwasher! I use these every three months in my dishwasher on the hot deep clean cycle. To keep up on cleaning I use the cheaper cleaning tabs from Finish once a month. This product does a good job of getting the inside of the dishwasher to shine again and it smells significantly better after the cycle finishes. To be honest, the scent it gives off while cleaning the dishwasher is not pleasant. Has a chemical smell to it, as soon as the cycle ends and you open the dishwasher to help air dry it isn’t the best. If you can handle it, once the dishwasher is clean and dry, it smells 10x better. I also remove my filter in the bottom of the dishwasher and clean it in tandem when I use these packs. Small particles get caught in the filter and cause mold and smell awful. Using this product and soaking/cleaning the filter with vinegar every three months keeps my dishwasher smelling great and it cleans all of my dishes well!

> 3 dayIm not sure how well this exactly works but my dishwasher smelled a little fresher. But I have used others that smelled better or cleaner afterwards and my dishwasher is not that dirty.

> 3 dayBefore you read my review--Ive read many reviews on here from people stating that it doesnt work because the wax wouldnt melt (among other complaints). Theres a clear reason for this--your dishwasher is so dirty that --your dishwasher-- doesnt work. If your dishwasher is so dirty that it cant reach a high temperature, you need to either hire someone to come and clean your dishwasher, or spend a few hours taking it apart and cleaning it. Look online for some good home recipes for dishwasher cleaners. Once your dishwasher can actually reach a high temperature, then use this (and update your review). - - - - - - - - - - - My family goes through a lot of dishes in a week. Id say that the dishwasher is run, on average, 1 1/2 times every two days. After falling behind on maintenance with our last dishwasher (a Whirlpool QuietPartner III), about every six months it would just stop and error out. Id have to unload the entire dishwasher, take the entire thing apart, clean out the filter, run cleaning solution through it (vinegar mostly) to attempt to remove the build up (some of it was so set that it wouldnt clean off), put it all back together and then say to myself I need to remember to do this every few months so that it doesnt stop in the middle of the cycle. Of course, I rarely remembered this and put up with a dishwasher that routinely errored out more and more frequently. We bought a new dishwasher this past Summer--a lovey Bosch with extra space, an option for half load, and an easy-access filter. No more pulling out my toolkit to clean the filter! Anyway, once it was installed and spotless I made a commitment to clean the filter a few times a week (its so easy) and run dishwasher cleaner through it twice a month. We have hard water and, like I said, run the dishwasher a lot. I set up subscribe and save to send me Finishs cleaner. I run it on the 1st and 15th of every month. I also wipe down all of the surfaces. The result? Its a 6 month old dishwasher which has been run at least 100 times--and its spotless. Dishes come out sparkling, it smells good, there is no build up anywhere... and youd think it was brand new. This was the recommended brand by Bosch so Ive never tried another cleaner. But, I have no reason to ever deviate. Even if the competitors product were cheaper, I wouldnt try it. I know this works and saving a dollar or two isnt enough reason to try something else. --The one and only complaint that I have is regarding delivery. I live in Wisconsin and it gets mighty cold here. Ive had this delivered when its below zero and the liquid froze. As a result, it broke the plastic container and started to leak everywhere. I quickly put it in the dishwasher and ran the sanitize cycle, but what if I hadnt noticed? I dont know the solution to this, but, if you live someplace thats cold, and have it delivered, this package on your doorstep may turn into an ice cube--and break the container.

> 3 dayI was somewhat skeptical on whether I’d notice any difference. Crazy thing is, after using this my dishwasher was easier to pull out the “drawers.” So the cleaning aid somewhat degreased the sliders so that now it is easier to pull in & out.
