> 3 dayNow granted, I live in a rental so Im not sure what this dishwasher smelled like new, but Ive been to big box stores and it smelled similar to those machines. It was super simple to use the cleaner with the instructions on the bottle. You should definitely still clean out the filter on the dishwasher to make sure its fully clean. Thats it...follow the instructions and your dishwasher wont smell terrible.

> 3 dayIt works great and the ingredients aren’t scary. The fragrance is a little strong but I can deal. (I buy unscented everything.) I’ve got a 20+ year old dishwasher in my apartment and it requires one of these every couple months. Absolutely recommend!

> 3 dayI use my dishwasher everyday. Sometimes twice, three, four times a day. I try to wipe along the edges and get the grime and gunk out and I thought I kept it fairly clean for the amount of dirty dishes going in. Well, I used this the other day and when I opened my dishwasher, I thought I was in the appliance showroom. It was quite visibly shining and sparkling like brand new stainless steel. This stuff works!

> 3 dayOur Samsung dishwasher was showing the dreaded oE error code after a load of dishes. I read other reviews from buyers having similar problems with overflow codes. My dishwasher smells clean and looks clean too after using this one time. I admit I don’t clean mine nearly as much as I should. If you are considering buying a new dishwasher because your old one shows error codes, try one of these cleaner packs first. I’ll update review if oE shows again on my dishwasher meaning it didn’t help. But for now the error code has not reappeared since using this cleaner.

Greater than one weekDoes a great job of removing hard water stains & making my dishwasher look like new again. They are super easy to use and dont have a strong off-putting scent like other dishwasher cleaners tend to have.

Greater than one weekSuper easy to use, you just place it in the empty dishwasher according to the instructions. The dishwasher practically sparkled when done, and it smelled great for a couple of days. This will become a regular thing.

04-06-2025We have two Bosch dishwashers in our kitchen. They are 20 years old and generally have done a great job over the years; however, they have been taking longer and longer to complete their cycles because of hard-water deposits on the heating elements. In most (or all) Bosch dishwashers, the heating element is inaccessible (which is great since no plastics can fall on it and melt), so its not possible to manually clean or inspect it. Hard-water minerals and other gunk build up on the heaters over time and decrease their heating ability while taking longer and using more energy to get through the cycle. I didnt take before images, but you can see how clean and sparkling everything is in my after images. The filter plug is image two, and this was after I degreased it. The fine mesh screen did not come fully clean with just the Finish cleaner. We used this cleaner as directed and the dishwasher is sparkling clean inside, smells very clean and fresh, and the racks glide in and out much more easily than before. I did not realize that the racks were resisting movement, but now that they are clean, they move with almost no effort even when fully loaded. The main stainless filter screen on the bottom of the tank did come sparkling clean, but the final filter screen did not. Its made of some sort of very fine plastic and still appealed to be somewhat clogged with grease, minerals, food debris, or perhaps a combination of them all after using the Finish dishwasher cleaner. I had to separately remove the filter and use a strong degreaser on it to get it totally clean, so next time I will do this ahead of using the Finish dishwasher cleaner product. I cant complain after 20 years of use and never cleaning the filter. I hope that by starting with a clean filter and with regular use of the Finish cleaner, it will not be necessary to clean the filters manually. The dishes are spotlessly clean now and the cycle is running about 20 minutes less than before cleaning, so we are saving time and money -- probably enough to offset the the cost of the Finish cleaner. For those who do not like scents, the product does have a fresh, but lingering, scent. After 2 cycles, the scent was gone, but the dishwasher is cleaning and working as if it were new. I never imagined that I would have to wash my dishwasher, but since I apparently do, Cinderfella here recommends this Finish dishwasher cleaner. PS -- one item of concern is this from the product listing: Do not mix with chlorine bleach or any other product as harmful fumes may result. We use Jet-dry rinse agent regularly, so there was some of that injected during the cycle. I assume no harmful fumes resulted. There is no way to turn off the rinse agent injector and no way to tell if its completely empty. Perhaps the vendor should address this concern and indicate if there is an issue with using Jet-Dry with the cleaner.

> 3 dayThis product did a great job of getting most of the grime out of my dishwasher. It smells great and was easy to use.
