My son loves this kit. It’s great for emergency survival. If you get lost in the woods or separated from your party you can blow the whistle. Theres a fire starter in case you find yourself in need of warmth as you end up spending more time than expected in the woods. I love that the can opening tool also contains a saw blade and a map scale on one side and a ruler on the other. This is a great way to measure his catch of fish. This set is very compact it can attach to your backpack and can literally save your life in an emergency.

This fires starter is just what I needed for my GO bag. Compact easy to use and easy to hold on to while using it. Made of sturdy material, strike a few times to get through the paint and you are good to go. The whistle is a nice bonus.

I find this fire starter to be convenient , small in size to keep in a bag or on a Keychain for your keys, house keys, car keys, etc, and efficient enough to start a fire quickly; I would buy another one for camping trips or an emergency bag to have with me; overall decent price and theres no cons of this fire starter

This came with a PopSocket gift but they didnt need to buy my happiness: this is a well made set. We had to purchase one of these when my daughter was in Girl Scouts and there is no comparison. This set is less expensive and 10x better quality. This comes with a whistle, scraper (end), flint and striker. There is a length of paracord to hold it all together. You could put all these on a small locking carabiner and attach it to your backpack.

the sparkle is easy to generate and the fire is generate with dry leaves easily. Also there is a small gift for the phone holder. Very nice.

This first starter stick works just as one would expect it to. It is easy to use, even for the novice (myself). Also has a small ruler on the striker that is a useful tool, and much appreciated. The alert whistle is loud, and Definitely ran my cats and dog back from me when I used it. I will be ordering a second set for dh bc these are things that are needed in todays uncertain times!

I remember using these when I was a kid in boy scouts. Decided to buy one again to keep in my kayaking/hiking kit. I havent used it yet, as its for emergency situations, but it seems to be decent quality.

Bought these for ours and our sons campers. Cant be too prepared.

This is great for any survival kit, and it’s just cool that I have! It was really fun to try out and see sparks and practice in the case of needing it, or practice looking super cool when everyone else pulls out matches or a lighter to start our next fire, but I pull out… THIS!
