Fisher-Price Toddler Pull Toy, Classic Xylophone Pretend Musical Instrument with Mallet and Rolling Wheels for Ages 18+ Months

This is a cute and well made toy. It’s a classic. However, the string is 8” long; ridiculously short. It can’t comfortably reach the keys at the far end. What is the point in a musical toy that can’t be played? We will have to lengthen the string before gifting it. Not happy.

great classic toy modernized. sturdy, well built. only issue is the cord is super short & it annoyed my tot. made it hard for him to hit the keys as he didnt have much range. once I untied the stick from the cord he preferred it that way. btw unless your baby is really short there is no way this is being used as a pull toy. my guy is tall for a one year old but even if he were an average sized baby I dont see how that would work. overall he loves it & so do i

These have that perfect, grungy tonal quality you expect from Fisher Price - the shrill jingle of these keys really made my Morning Announcements (Im a principal).

I remembered how much my children loved this xylophone 40++ years ago so I bought one for my youngest grandchild who is 20 months old. It is still a wonderful, wonderful toy that my grandson is really enjoying!

This xylophone is a great concept - the wand is attached to a string so it doesnt get lost. The string is too short though. It can only play a tune if its positioned just right. Too hard for a toddler to figure out. Maybe just an inch or two more in length and it would be perfect. Now, pretty useless.

Overall the product is good a serves the purpose. However one small difference from the one I had growing up (other than mine was made of wood!) The one I had played sounds when pulled. This does not. Overall good sturdy product and the string is short enough to prevent your little one from choking. The short string does make it a little more difficult to use. But in today’s lawsuit happy world a necessity. The difficulty measure is the reason for 4 stars. Understandable but that’s my view.

If you receive a video of your 3 yo grandson playing “Life is a highway” when you are having a rough week you will know true joy.

Definitely is a great gift for a toddler.
