> 24 hourI really love this item and my infant took to it just like I thought he would. The packaging was super easy to get the toy out of, which this very tired mom was grateful for on Xmas day. I think I spent a good fifteen minutes myself tapping out music on it while my infant watched amazed. My only complaint it that the cord connecting the Xylophone to the stick is really short. I had a hard time trying to maneuver it to hit the red tile at the end without twisting it in a weird way and my one year old got pretty frustrated by it after a few minutes himself when he couldnt hit what he wanted to. Ill most likely be cutting the string off to save myself the headache in the future when assisting my little one in learning to improve his motor skills. Overall I am super happy with the purchase!

> 24 hourOne year old loves it. Got as BD gift. You can never go wrong with Fisher Price. Very durable, indestructible toys. Found out about Fisher Price 40 years ago when my son then 2..sat on the arm of the Fisher Price record player while it was on! Didnt even break the short concealed needle!

> 24 hourMy grandson (almost 9 months old) likes to suck on the mallet and occasionally bang on the metal plates. Hes not super interested in listening to me play, which is fine, since the short string makes it almost impossible. I am planning on cutting the string soon, since I think once he starts wanting to actually play it, the short string will cause frustration. But this seems sturdier than some other ones we looked at, and it reminds me of the ones my own kids had when they were little. Overall, a good product and Id buy it again.

> 24 hourReasonable price for tried and true kids gift. Granted, it isnt as heavy as the one from my youth (never mind that era) which makes it easier to handle, maneuver, and potentially keep it from becoming a weapon while the tot flings it around (hahaha). The string attaching the drum stick is too short to get solid sound on xylophone - probably to avoid a strangulation hazard. I removed the drum stick from the string which allows for better sound. You can always reattach if tot wants to drag it around in the wheels. Nice gift!!

> 24 hourGot this for my 1 year olds birthday and she loves it. It took her a few weeks to figure out how to hit it properly. Now shes jamming out. It makes a pleasant sound. Its fun for adults to play to. I have already figured out a few songs. My daughter is a chewer though and did chew off the paint on a few keys. Shes already quite adventurous and we have to make sure it doesnt turn into a skateboard or step.
