Fixcracked for iPad mini & iPad mini 2 9.7 inch Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly+ Professional Tool Kit (black)

I thought it was pretty easy to install but it didn’t work. Unfortunately I missed the deadline for returning it.

Laughs to self all that work. Pulling off the protective film for the back of the digitizer cut the ribbon cable like a razor. It really is better just to throw 10 year old electronics in the trash. Ive repaired dozens of phones, tablets, and other touch screen devices; first time Ive ever had this happen.

The first kit I received had a faulty and defective home button. However, the return process was quick and painless, and the second one has been working perfectly for weeks. While this is not a repair to be performed by newbies, if anyone who is a novice or better undertakes the process of replacing this screen, they should be fine, so long as they take it slow. The kit includes high quality parts and a higher quality set of tools than expected. The tools are of a much higher quality than those Ive received in other kits. Overall, this is a good product and an easy way t extend the life of your iPad mini if the screen is cracked or broken.

So far it is holding up okay, though it is not as sensitive as the original digitizer. I bought it to replace the original due to a crack. The adhesive is also not that great, so I recommend reinforcing it as others have mentioned. One note during removal of the original: the instructions state to heat it up around the edges in order to loosen the adhesive. Not sure if that was the issue or if it was something else, but my LCD screen ended up going bad, so I had to order another LCD screen. This was when I discovered that the adhesive on the digitizer was not that great, as it was able to come right off. So, just be very careful so that you do not have to replace the LCD screen as well.

This iPad mini2 screen is decent quality and came in damaged. But the digitizer cable is too long and gets crimped in between the gram and the screen, meaning you can’t push it down all the way and it doesn’t adhere in that spot. On top of that, the adhesion intel self doesn’t go fully around the screen, and doesn’t stick very well in its own. Decent screen replacement, but the digitizer ale being took long makes it unusable. Will be replacing it with a different brand.

I just received this kit today and I am very satisfied with it, it comes with all the tools you need and it’s very easy to install just don’t mind the hand book I went to YouTube and watch how to fix it and it only took me an hour

Just received new screen. Sadly when I opened the box it looked as though the screen was broken. On further inspection it became clear that there was a string of glue across the backside of the screen. I tried to wipe it off with the cleaning cloth provided but it only smeared the glue. Returning screen for refund.
