Im very happy with my purchase. This fits my RT85 and looks great. The rubber texture feels nice and the felt bottom wont scratch anything. For a hunk of metal it is pricey but compared to others I tried this is the best for the money. It does a great job at flattening warped records too.

I bought this for use on a Technics Grand Class SL-1210G. The dust cover has a low profile, so this stabilizer was perfect to fit beneath it, and had enough mass to make it work properly even on heavier weight records. Be careful when ordering this item, though--the first one I received was damaged in shipping, and the rubberized coating had nicks in it on the top. (For what these cost, I expect them to be perfect when they arrive.) But the Amazon return process was smooth and I received a new, undamaged stabilizer to replace it with.

I can see why some reviews are complaining about it bending the record up and away from the platter. Its very heavy and I tested with a rubber platter mat on my acrylic platter. Did the same thing as others have mentioned. Is imagine it will do the same thing with any soft platter. However with mat removed and the record directly on the acrylic platter it helped tremendously with a couple records that are slightly warped.

Guessing quality control issue. First one didnt fit RT85 like several others with the same experience. BUT, fast return and second one within days fit perfectly. So, little frustration, but all resolved. Fluance does make very cool products.

Sound takes a nice step up when using the beautifully built record weight.

Its very heavy and it does exactly what itbsays it will do. I was pleasantly surprised at its weight. Very pleased with the product.

This thing is well made, has a great matte finish and is probably the weightiest stabilizer you’re going to find. And the price is very reasonable all things considered.

Turntable weight arrived as described. It is heavy and works well. If your turntable is on a glass surface, be careful. If dropped on vinyl or glass, good chance of damage will result. Keep a tight grip.
