> 3 dayI got this to use on my old dual turntable to reduce vibrations coming through my records into the stylus. It works excellently. It is very heavy and does its job perfectly.

Greater than one weekI just recently became a collector of vinyl, having many albums I never listened to - I purchase everything needed. I read that these weighted stabilizers are a perfect addition to provide consistent album stability while being played. I purchased this, and notice immediately that it is a valuable addition to the listening experience.

> 3 dayDont even try having a turntable with an acrylic platter without a record weight. Youll scratch your records up because theyll slide all over the place youve got to hold it down and youve got to hold it in place with a record weight if youre using a higher and turntable. You just need the stability it is obvious it is noticeable dont even think twice about it just get this thing because this is the perfect weight. Its not too late and its not too heavy. It has felt on the bottom so that the label doesnt get scratched up. Its worth every penny. Just get it.

Greater than one weekThe record weight helps to stabilize the tone arm when playing a somewhat warped record

> 3 dayDimensions as I measured: Diameter = 2-3/4 (70 mm). Height = 1-1/6 (27 mm). Weight = 750 grams. The weight has a very clean, neutral design that fits with any turntable. The rubberized finish is matte black and satin-feel. The finish is slippery, so be sure to get a good grip under the ridges before lifting. The FLUANCE logo on top is a CLEAR glossy decal that stands out just enough against the matte black coating without being overt, which I prefer. As far as cover clearance goes, even with a 3 mm thick acrylic mat on my platter, there is still about half an inch of clearance when the lid is closed on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable. The cost per gram on this weight makes it the best deal for a high mass (i.e. over 1 lb. /450 g) turntable weight. You can find cheaper weights out there, but they tend to be less than half the weight (225-350 g). I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a high mass turntable stabilizer/weight.

Greater than one weekThis thing is well made, has a great matte finish and is probably the weightiest stabilizer you’re going to find. And the price is very reasonable all things considered.

> 3 dayIt’s a fine looking piece of machined metal that “stabilizes?” your lp. At least the warped ones will see a possible benefit. Seems somewhat like turntable jewelry.

> 3 dayThis record weight is nice and a must have if you have an RT82-85 it really does flatten warp albums I had a slightly warped Phil Collins and it literally instead of repeating in the same spot on the record it literally didn’t repeat and played through also there was a slight improvement in sound I would highly recommend this to everyone if you own the RT82-RT85

08-06-2025Im very happy with my purchase. This fits my RT85 and looks great. The rubber texture feels nice and the felt bottom wont scratch anything. For a hunk of metal it is pricey but compared to others I tried this is the best for the money. It does a great job at flattening warped records too.
