> 24 hourAfter purchasing my Fluance RT85 turntable I began the search for a record weight stabilizer. After many hours of searching, I decided to go with the Fluance. The same company that made my turntable. Quick shipping and works like a charm. I have never heard my vinyl play so clearly. Perfect compliment to your turntable.

> 24 hourDoes its job to a tee. Shouldn’t be $50.

> 24 hourI loved it. Not 760g but close, it actually is 754g. It came well packaged and I had no problem with it.

> 24 hourNow let me preface by saying I play a lot of records and this was not a bad weight as far as what its use was in my setup. But after upgrading to an RT-83 I decided to give this weight a spin and after a few weeks the plastic started to peel off the bottom. It was way too expensive anyway. Oh well

> 24 hourIt’s a prohibitively expensive hockey puck with a hole drilled into its center. And it’s not even autographed by Wayne Gretzky or anyone. Nonetheless, I never play a record on my RT85 without it. What I think makes this hockey puck more expensive than most is the fact that it seems perfectly weighted and balanced to spin on a vinyl. I have no evidence this actually helps, but it makes sense to me why it would. If it does to you, too, you might enjoy it.

> 24 hourWould definitely recommend it! Use it all the time with my record and you can visually see how the needle wabbles less when the weight is on. It doesn’t damage your records and it’s just worth it.

> 24 hourThis is an awesome piece of equipment stops a lot of flutter on older records and keeps the weight constant as the record turns.

> 24 hourWorks as it should. Had a couple albums with a warp and it eliminated them. Very happy.

> 24 hourDimensions as I measured: Diameter = 2-3/4 (70 mm). Height = 1-1/6 (27 mm). Weight = 750 grams. The weight has a very clean, neutral design that fits with any turntable. The rubberized finish is matte black and satin-feel. The finish is slippery, so be sure to get a good grip under the ridges before lifting. The FLUANCE logo on top is a CLEAR glossy decal that stands out just enough against the matte black coating without being overt, which I prefer. As far as cover clearance goes, even with a 3 mm thick acrylic mat on my platter, there is still about half an inch of clearance when the lid is closed on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable. The cost per gram on this weight makes it the best deal for a high mass (i.e. over 1 lb. /450 g) turntable weight. You can find cheaper weights out there, but they tend to be less than half the weight (225-350 g). I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a high mass turntable stabilizer/weight.

> 24 hourIve been building stereos for over 51 years. Vinyl is my favorite medium. In all those years, Ive never seen or heard of a HiFi Vinyl Record Weight Stabilizer. I researched and found this one to be suitable for the price and also because I have a Fluance turntable. I put it on with a heavy bass Zeppelin tune and not only did it keep it from skipping, but it also cut down on the feedback I was getting between the speakers and the cartridge. This dampens the vibration of the record to reduce wow and flutter and obviously reduced feedback. This isnt a necessity for the beginner, but a must for the audiophile. It does make a difference.
