Disclaimer: I was not paid to write this: Buying replacement parts online has always been more than unpleasant. Being the creature that I am, I gave it a go for an iPad screen replacement. I am completely satisfied with the outcome. So much so that I almost dont know what to do with my spare emotions. You could spend over $100 on a screen replacement, and if thats what helps you sleep at night, go for it. If spending $100 gives you anxiety (as it does me), then give these guys a shot. Just sayin.

The kit came on time and was packaged well. This kit is great because it comes complete with a new home button and its already prewired to the screen! Mine sons Ipad was shattered so that made removing it difficult even with packing tape on front of screen. Take your time and use gloves(i didnt and now have glass in my hand my fault) with this kit having the home button already wired made it ALOT easier! Price was also great. I really didnt think my skill set was up to this but my wife helped and this kit provided all the tools you need. Just pay attention to how the cables come off work slow and you will be fine. The screws are super tiny so use a magnetic parts cup. I highly recommend and would buy another of these kits from this seller!

It had no adhesive so after using YouTube videos to install due to horribly inadequate detailed instructions.

It works. It just take time to peel off the adhesive tape. In other words, it compresses nicely.

I decided to buy this kit to fix the screen on my ipad 6th gen. I watched a youtube video and followed the steps. Removing the glass, disassembly, and reassembly were not the problem in my assessment of the product. The kit came with all the tools needed for this. My problem would be with the quality of the glue and glass needed to repair my ipad. During the reassembly, the last process is to remove the film over the glue film. This glue film might as well be a piece of tape. It was barely even sticky. Which leads to my next problem. I had to keep trying to press around my ipad an the glass to get it to stay closed (which is still not the case) and then the next problem. The pressure of me securing the glass to the edge of my ipad, and boom, the glass cracks. Being me I thought it was a faulty glass. I contacted amazon and they sent another replacement free of charge. So then I did everything again once the new kit came. And guess what? The exact same thing happened...so unless I have some kind of super strength, the fact that the mere pressure of my finger is breaking the glass, what does that say about using the ipad later down the road..will the glass crack when i am using it to play a game that requires my touch or me using the ipencil to write...needless to say i will be returing this one and trying a different brand. up to you if you want to chance it, at this point i am super discouraged. amazon customer service was great, it was the product itself that was super dissappointing.

Theres a region near the center of the screen that seems to be less sensitive to touch. Sometimes it works better, sometimes worse. Maybe I got a defective one, or the cable got pinched in a weird way while installing it. Since the adhesive strips dont bond very tight I tried removing it and checking the cable but wasnt able to get it working any better. Trying another brand. Not really the fault of the kit, but Apple seems to have improved their glass adhesive. The original screen was VERY hard to get off, and basically impossible without causing it to crack into a few pieces. Earlier model iPads were much easier to repair.

I buy this product on October 8,and had it installed 1 months later the touch pad is not working i dont recommend.

The touch screen didn’t work. The top half of the screen had no response and the bottom wasn’t calibrated correctly. Missed my return window. Defective.
