Forney 20857 Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid, 4 oz

I burned out several bits on two 1/2 inch hardened bolts and bits barely made a mark. I saw this product while looking for a solution and bought it. What a difference was able to drill them both out easily. I was surprised at the difference this product made.

Works great, does what its made to do. Cant compare to another brand never used anything else.

This made a hell of a difference when rethreading rusty frame nuts in an 03 Odyssey. I had Kroil, PB and WD40 on hand. Those did well at cleaning the taps, but were not very useful when lubing the tap or nut threads. To be fair, I didnt try any other lubricants. For all I know, motor oil may have worked. Either way, this made a huge difference.

Had to drill and tap the hardened output shaft on my Jeeps transfer case. I was amazed by how quickly and easily I was able to do it using this fluid. Both drill bits still have a sharp edge on them and I was able to tap it with almost no resistance!

Have used this on steel aluminum and stainless for milling lathe work and tapping and i have to say i cant get enough of this stuff!

I first had the chance to use this in late July 2014 when tapping some holes for screws. It is very effective, making the taps cut much more easily and back out with less effort.

Does what it says it will do!
