Forney 20857 Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid, 4 oz

Its oil. I feel gypped. Also there was no red cap on mine so after I cut off the tip its just open.

After so many suggestions from so many reviews on here, I decided to give this fluid a try. I had to drill through a light weight steel gun safe. I used Hymnorq Metric M35 Cobalt Steel Drill Bits and this fluid. A perfect combination. My bits never dulled, nor overheated. And what a great price!

Works OK. White plastic cap cracked where it fits onto can, so it leaks some.

Worked great!! I dont tap often but if I ever run out, will buy again.

I have a small machine shop and have used Tap magic for the last 40 years for tapping and drilling. This lubricant and cutting fluid makes drilling a snap in hard materials like stainless steel , reduces tapping pressures, saves cutting edges by keeping them cooler and is also great for sawing metals with a jig or band saw . When cutting thicker metal with a jig saw you can do an entire job with one metal cutting blade by applying small amounts of this product ahead of the cut ---dont machine metal without it .

An amazing cutting fluid that makes drilling through Low-Carbon Stainless Steel an absolute breeze but it does leave a nasty odor on the metals surface that I cant seem to wash off and very easily irritates skin.

I did not know just how much I have needed this over the years, do you know how many bits I could have saved if I had been using this. A fast drill and this cutting fluid saves a lot of bits, which makes the job go much faster
