Forney 20857 Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid, 4 oz

Really makes a difference in drilling metal!

This cutting fluid seems to stay in place much better than the machine oil I was using previously. I think is was a wise purchase to help save my drill bits.

It helped me use cheep step drill bits on leaf spring steel. I dont think I would have been able to drill through the material without it. Ill use it from now on to improve cutting speed and help preserve all my bits.

Its not actually Pro Tap. Pro Tap is a different product entirely, also by Tap Magic. This is NOT Pro Tap. This is regular old Tap Magic (aka Tap Magic EP-Extra) . Ive recently started doing some fabrication and drilling into metal (typically aluminum stock) - since I was relatively new to this endeavor I was unfamiliar with using cutting oil. Its a night and day difference, if you ever find yourself needing to drill holes into metal, you definitely need this.

I’ve been using Tap Magic for as long as I can remember. Always works regardless of material, copper, brass, steel and stainless steel I have used it on. Great product.
