My great grandson loved it.

Bought one for my son, he was 7 at the time, tall, thin build, brand new to riding... (him & I both), got comfortable enough to increase speed on his Honda 50 just a little (and by that, I mean up to 15 mph), got the speed wobbles yep even at 15 mph, had a pretty good crash, everything from head to toe protected him very well, except this roost protector, the handlebar grip punched him in his solar plexus area and scratched upward to his ribcage, I thought for sure he broke ribs...thank god he didnt, he was ok after about 20 minutes and wanted to get back on the horse so to speak and continue riding, a little speed shy, but ok. like I said, my son has a tall torso, and may be good for shorter kids i guess?, but I think this roost protector should at least go down far enough to protect the rest of the torso/solar plexus area, not just way up in the chest area. Hindsight being 20/20 I never imagined the handlebar stabbing him below the roost protector, I got him an actual chest protector the very next day.

Fox W1 Titan Roost ProFrame breast plate chest protector Children black/grey - works for my granddaughter. She is 4 years old and rides hard. She has had a few minor crashes and jumps right back on. Some folks do not think of the chest protectors much, but there are many things that can jab you will riding or in an accident. This chest protector has even protected my granddaughter from a mean old rooster we have here. I would recommend this for all riders.

I read other posts that this ran small. That is exactly what I needed and it fits perfect. My almost three year old loves it, but I dont think it would fit a child that wears a size bigger than about 4t.
