I recently purchased a pair of Foxelli trekking poles after much research online: reading articles, reviews, watching videos, etc. I took them out for a 6 mile hike today in the 95 degree weather and I came to a fairly compelling conclusion by the end of the hike: worth it. Apparently the days of research paid off. I loved these poles. The weight was good, sturdy, easy to adjust, the straps were good. And everyone was right: cork makes a big difference. I said it was hot and after 2.5 hours, they didnt even feel damp.

After spending a couple of weeks researching various kinds of trekking poles, I ended up settling on these. Received them 4 days ago, and boxed them up to return the very same day. The flip locks would not hold the poles in extended position, no matter how I tightened the locks! I was SO disappointed. Putting only a light amount of pressure on the poles caused them to telescope back down to their shortest length. However--my disappointment plus the inconvenience of having to box them up and drive them the 15 miles to my local UPS Store for the free return, are NOTHING compared with the potential safety issue here. I am so glad I tried these poles out at home before taking them out on the trail! I am recovering from a hip/back/pelvis injury and bought these poles so I could get out walking on trails again. If I had waited to try them the first time on the trail--which is exactly what I wanted to do, I was so excited to get them--I would have fallen and reinjured myself!!! Quality control is desperately needed here. I SO wanted to love this product! :-(

Walking poles are great. They really help with balance and walking straight. Help great with any back problems and is easy on the knees.

Needed these to do more walking to get ready for hip replacement. Works well and helps keep stability!

This is a great package. Poles are well constructed, easy to adjust and come with great extra tips and a storage/carry bag. We use to walk in our local conservation parks. Definitely recommend.

Fast and hassle free. Haven’t had a chance to break them in, but they look nice.

My poles came in a few days basically ready to go! Easy to adjust and the instructions included were super clear and easy to understand. Looking forward to hiking locally here in Florida and the Appalachian Trail in the fall…
