> 3 dayI bought these over another pair because of the high rating. I received them yesterday and decided to test then on the carpet in the house so I dont mar them and was pretty excited I finally got a new set. Unfortunately, they do loosen and the poles slide down. I opened the latches and tightened the screws a bit and tried again several times. They have a knack for loosening up so I gave up. They are very good looking, and overall seem to be well built. But its a no-go if the poles dont stay locked into place. Returning.

> 3 dayThis is the second pair of the same brand that we have bought as we are VERY pleased with the first pair. In the past we have rented poles when doing mountain hiking so we have tested out other brands before. The Foxelli poles are THE BEST. #1 is that they do not slip once you have correctly snapped the lock. Never. And that is really important when you are doing serious mountain hiking. You feel safe. The poles are also easy to adjust for the right feel at the handles. We love ours!

> 3 dayWe purchased these poles because as we hike in the mountains and the heat, our hands and fingers have started swelling and get quite painful. These poles have taken away that problem. they also take some of the pressure off our knees. We are enjoying these poles.

> 3 dayI read a bunch of reviews saw a vast majority of positive reports. I also read the negative reports and it seemed the biggest complaint was the locking system not working. I was a bit concerned and hesitant but ordered them anyway. They are packaged well and have way more tip options than Ill ever need. Grips feel very comfortable along with the wrist strap. The adjustment lock works great on both our sets. I did notice reading through the Maintenance and Care they give very good instructions. Specifically on the subject of adjusting the poles and locks. They also explain how to test the lock. Keeping them clean and dry and storing them with the lock mechanism open keeps them working as designed. My wife is 5 6 and I am 6 1, we are both happy with the poles. Did I mention they are light? Looking forward to more hikes with these poles.

> 3 dayI have owned these poles a few weeks and highly recommend them. Being a novice hiker I have been on some trails that I probably shouldnt have gone on. I couldnt have made it through some of the areas without them. The best part is that when I had to put them to the test I didnt worry or think about what if they collapsed on me. They are excellent and if/when I need new poles I will purchase again.

> 3 dayI just received the product today and was able to take them for a hike. I found that they are well-made and sturdy. They handle well although somewhat heavier than carbon fiber. The added weight was excellent for my needs. I love the storage pouch they came with! I have had many trecking polls over the years but I’ve found these to be the nicest I have ever used!

> 3 dayI used the hiking poles throughout my time in Utah National Parks as well as a rim-to-rim hike of the Grand Canyon. The poles helped give me stability hiking on the icy slopes and helped relieve weight on my knees.

> 3 dayThese arrived quickly. I ordered these specifically because they are a small business. I had been considering getting trekking poles for years. We are going hiking in North Carolina for fall break and I wanted added stability for my aunt who has a bad knee. Can’t wait to try them out.
