Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

My son loves Spiderman and grew up not being able to have Advent Calendars due to allergies. He was thrilled to receive this as an almost 20 y/o. He came and got me every day so we could do it together. Im so happy with this and Im going to find a similar one next year.

I really love these Funko Advent calendars so we went with the marvel theme for this year. I think most of these little figures are super adorable, and I really like how well they incorporated the holiday theme with the marvel figures. I will say my number one complaint is that there a couple of repeats with them being sparkly, but the character and theme is the exact same. I think I would have rather had more variety than the same figure in two different options (sparkly and not). That being said I am happy with the purchase, and it was fun through the holiday month.

I came on here to give this a bad review. The cost was really high but we figured for the name brand the items would be quality. We were super pleased with the quality each day but 23 days in and we have three exact duplicates (we dont consider the glitter ones to be duplicates. I mean exact copies of three of them). I started to read other reviews to see if other people got duplicates and someone said the exact copy duplicates one of them is glow in the dark. Took the duplicates in a dark room and sure enough three of the ones we thought were exact duplicates were glow in the dark which makes them unique. Much happier with the set knowing this and am writing a review in hopes someone else checks theirs and realizes there are 24 unique ones.

I purchased these to turn them into Christmas tree ornaments. There were only 18 that made it to my tree. 3 of them had glitter. I don’t do glitter. The other 3 were duplicates of others. That sucks. There should be no duplicates. However, the price is so worth it compared to buying 24 at full price. Beware of a seller on Etsy. She is gutting these advent calendars and adding keychain hardware on them then she calls them “CUSTOMIZED.” I screwed an eyelet into the head and added an ornament hanger. She did the same thing. Screw in an eyelet, add a chain, and add a split ring. Boo.

We were so excited for this advent calendar but its falling short. The quality is good and theyre adorable, but in 17 days so far, weve received 3 exact duplicates and a few other of the same Marvel character in a different Christmas costume. There are SO MANY marvel characters to choose from, there should be no reason for duplicates if they wanted to do this right. We wont buy Funko Advent calendars again.

It was fun opening a new marvel hero every day until I started getting duplicates. But overall the non gingerbread FUNCOs were really cool.

This was super fun for the kids (so far). We are on day 11 and most of them have been gingerbread versions of the characters. I hope we are just unlucky and getting them all in the beginning. The ones that are not gingerbread figures are so much more fun: Groot decorated like a Christmas tree, Thanos in a Christmas sweater. Cool. This was bought for $36 and then it lowered to $26 within a week and Amazon wouldnt refund the difference.

There were a ton of duplicates. I mean, the EXACT same mini pop. Probably 3 or 4 days had the exact same one as a previous day. Then there were some that the only difference was it was glitter, same pose and everything. Very disappointed. There are soooo many Marvel characters they could have used without having to repeat any like that.

I purchased this for my daughter for christmas, but my husband and I love Marvel too so we were all looking forward to seeing what she would get each day. Im so disappointed in the number of duplicates! As we still have a few days to go the final count is still TBD, but so far we have 4 exact duplicates, and 3 glitter version duplicates so thats only 14 unique figures out of 21, or 1/3 duplicates. NOT COOL for the cost, especially when (as others have noted) the box states 24 UNIQUE POPS!!!! The only silver lining is that my daughter is letting me keep the duplicates. However my biggest disappointment is there is NO DR STRANGE!!!!! He is my favorite character, I am super bummed.
