Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

My son loves it but was a little disappointed that there were duplicates. 2 Groots (one had a sheer star vs opaque star), 2 Thors (opaque vs sheer hammer), 2 Capt Americas ( one sparkly, 1 not) 2 iron mans (exactly the same) and 2 other super heros that I dont know their names but only difference is 1 has sparkles and dup does not.

It was fun opening a new marvel hero every day until I started getting duplicates. But overall the non gingerbread FUNCOs were really cool.

Heres the deal. The idea and concept was cute and fun. The actual items are adorable and creative. However, the diversity was not great. I am not thrilled that I got several repeats with little to no differences at all. There should be some sort of reasonably visible indicator on the box detailing what items you can/will collect or mentioning that duplicates are possible. So yes, I am slightly disappointed in this aspect. That being said, it was still a blast opening each compartment every night and displaying them for friends and family to see. They will be put out each year during the holidays because they are absolutely adorable! Maybe Ill even gift the duplicates to others in coming years. Still a fun purchase!

I liked that there were 24 funko pops included. I really enjoyed the funko pops that I got. There were at least 3 duplicates though and I was really disappointed in that.

Our family loves marvel so I thought my daughter would love this gift and she did. Only problem is there were several duplicates throughout the month. She did look up information and found out that even though some looked the same, they were considered glow in the dark the ones with the glitter. With all the marvel characters we were surprised with all the duplicates. Not sure I would buy again unless guaranteed no repeats.

I love a good advent calendar and we try to get one for each person in our family! The figures in this one are adorable and Christmas tree griot is my favorite! My son loves Thanos in an ugly sweater and the glittery ones don’t shed so that’s always good news when glitter is involved!

The calendar contains dozens of Marvel superheroes, including Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Black Panther, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Star-Lord - all dressed to impress in their holiday costumes. Very cute and fun to open for those young and old but the only downfall is that there are a number of duplicates behind the doors. I feel the experience would have been a bit better had each door of the advent calendar contained a different character without duplicates. Other than that, it was a lot of fun opening the different doors to see which character would appear next!

Several of the figures in our advent calendar were the same. I don’t know if that is typical or not and we just had gotten lucky with our other Funko advent calendar of The Office - all the figures in that one were different - The figures in this one we’re good quality and my son still had fun with it - but just know there could be duplicates.

Ive purchased the funko Office and funko Harry Potter advent calendars through Amazon before and have loved them. This one has been a dud. We just opened up Dec 14th, and so far have had three groots (two of which are identical), 2 captain marvels (identical except one is covered in glitter), and 2 Captain Americas (identical except one is covered in glitter). The figurines are cute, but if I had known there would be so many repeats, I would have thought twice about purchasing. Funko! You can do much better- or should be honest in your advertising.

I came on here to give this a bad review. The cost was really high but we figured for the name brand the items would be quality. We were super pleased with the quality each day but 23 days in and we have three exact duplicates (we dont consider the glitter ones to be duplicates. I mean exact copies of three of them). I started to read other reviews to see if other people got duplicates and someone said the exact copy duplicates one of them is glow in the dark. Took the duplicates in a dark room and sure enough three of the ones we thought were exact duplicates were glow in the dark which makes them unique. Much happier with the set knowing this and am writing a review in hopes someone else checks theirs and realizes there are 24 unique ones.
