Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

Opened it before elf brought it for my kids and I am glad I did. There were 2 characters that repeated 3 times!!! And one of those had 2 of the same but with glitter. So thats 8 out of 24 that are basically repeats. I am glad I opened it because my kids wouldve been very disappointed. The whole point of opening 1 every day is to get a different thing. This isnt it. I dont recommend it unless your kids like getting the same toy 5 times.

Love the idea. My son was extremely excited to open and get a character each day however there are duplicates which significantly dropped his excitement on many occasions. We received 2 of the same exact Grout, 2 Grouts with a star on the head which look just like the previously mentioned duplicate one only slightly different with the star, leaving us to have 4 very similar figures. We also got 2 Captain America snowmen one has glitter so only slightly different and 2 Ironman gingerbread guys, 2 scarlet gingerbreads one with glitter…again only slightly different. It is a super idea and fun but my son is 5 and he’s very annoyed that he’s got doubles and I’m equally annoyed because this thing was fairly pricey especially if you get the same things on multiple occasions. There are characters that were created in a more normal decor and then with a holiday twist and some could have at least been done more or done differently like made as snowmen or something a little more than throwing some glitter on it. Just kinda disappointed

Update - on Day 23 now. Looks like my duplicates are not the same as others. Leads me to believe its more of a packing issue than anything else. Still very cute but disappointing with the several dupes. ~~~ Im on day 17 and so far have two duplicates. I paid near full price for this so the least they could do is ensure a unique figure each day. Kids are like WTH?! Oh well. Other than that, the figures are a nice Christmas theme.

I purchased these to turn them into Christmas tree ornaments. There were only 18 that made it to my tree. 3 of them had glitter. I don’t do glitter. The other 3 were duplicates of others. That sucks. There should be no duplicates. However, the price is so worth it compared to buying 24 at full price. Beware of a seller on Etsy. She is gutting these advent calendars and adding keychain hardware on them then she calls them “CUSTOMIZED.” I screwed an eyelet into the head and added an ornament hanger. She did the same thing. Screw in an eyelet, add a chain, and add a split ring. Boo.

Fun twist on an Advent calendar but there were quite a few duplicates

I love a good advent calendar and we try to get one for each person in our family! The figures in this one are adorable and Christmas tree griot is my favorite! My son loves Thanos in an ugly sweater and the glittery ones don’t shed so that’s always good news when glitter is involved!

my son loved having this to open every day. I think if I remember he had some duplicates in there. hopefully next year they will make sure no duplicates.

Many duplicates! For being Marvel I expected way more variety. Would not buy again. Missing two from the pic (one was the iron man with the plastic stand (another duplicate and on the bottom left of pic) and a spider man (as if throwing web from hand). Fun for advent but disappointed with so many of the same character and identical ones too.

Im giving it 3 stars because I feel like the designers could have done a little better with some of the characters. Some are highly detailed and adorable, and some are just like gingerbread cutouts. There are several that are the exact same figure (2 each of at least 3 different ones) just a slight shade difference, like this one is a slightly brighter color than that one. My son loves it though and as it was a gift for him, thats all that matters. But they could have included different characters or made some of them look a little more Christmasy than looking like an iced cookie of Hulk, for example.

I purchased this for my daughter for christmas, but my husband and I love Marvel too so we were all looking forward to seeing what she would get each day. Im so disappointed in the number of duplicates! As we still have a few days to go the final count is still TBD, but so far we have 4 exact duplicates, and 3 glitter version duplicates so thats only 14 unique figures out of 21, or 1/3 duplicates. NOT COOL for the cost, especially when (as others have noted) the box states 24 UNIQUE POPS!!!! The only silver lining is that my daughter is letting me keep the duplicates. However my biggest disappointment is there is NO DR STRANGE!!!!! He is my favorite character, I am super bummed.
