Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

There were a ton of duplicates. I mean, the EXACT same mini pop. Probably 3 or 4 days had the exact same one as a previous day. Then there were some that the only difference was it was glitter, same pose and everything. Very disappointed. There are soooo many Marvel characters they could have used without having to repeat any like that.

*EDIT!* Some of the recent reviews with pictures have shown me that I got the SAME 3 SETS of duplicates as others. There was one that mentioned not minding the duplicates and in a mystery sort of purchase I would agree, but for the price AND with the description specifying 24 UNIQUE figures, Im super disappointed and not looking to purchase any more mystery sets for my mom or niece. The glitter ones that come with a stand to have them flying dont even fit with the glitter blocking the connection point so they cant even stand up! Got this to countdown to Winter Break with my students and today’s was a sparkly version of one from the first week. I decided to look ahead (opening the side-the red bags are see through) and even worse than minor variations (like gingerbread Cpt. Marvel in different outfits) there are straight up duplicates!! I can understand in mystery boxes and stuff getting 2 of the same across a couple boxes but in ONE countdown box for over $40????…there’s at least 2 pairs that are the same!!! And I can’t just spin it as a slight variation because of the multiverse! I’m disappointed as a Funko and Marvel fan, I’m just hoping the kids will forget the versions that come up again later. So much for keeping an ongoing community collection! Not worth it.

Bought as a present for grandchild they loved it bought at a Good price and Delivered right on time

Box is pretty standard for calendar. Opening each day isnt super difficult. Overall, I like the quality of the pops so far. All, but one (so far...as of 08DEC22) stand up on its own. So far it has been a mixture of gingerbread versions of Marvel characters and Christmas themed versions of Marvel characters. I think its a great advent calendar for someone that likes Funko Pops and Marvel. Update: I got several duplicates (see photo) which is disappointing. The advertisement says 24 unique pops. There are a ton of Marvel characters…not sure why there are so many duplicates. Knocked of a star because of it.

My son loved this for the first 7 days and while we are still opening them up we have gotten a whole lot of duplicates. Putting glitter on the same one doesn’t make it unique in my opinion. While he’s still enjoying he is always sad when he gets another one that he’s already gotten. With so many characters to choose from I don’t think this should be happening. I wouldn’t purchase again.

Really cute and while my son loved opening it up each day, he was disappointed several times due to duplicates. For the price, each piece should be unique.

I usually love getting these advent calendars from Funko but I’m not sure if it was mistakes or if the duplicates were deliberate. Because the others of the gingerbread characters were the diamond variety and there is at least one other Groot Christmas version that could have been used. Overall loved it but not completely happy with it. Edit: I reached out to Funko and was told the Ironman and Thor were the glow ones. Still not entirely happy but I always enjoy these.

Just over half of the figures were unique styles, the one that were duplicates were mostly a plain one and a glitter one. For some reason I did get one that was just the head of the Scarlet Witch... I bought these to use as ornaments on my 20 tree so the duplicates dont bother me. Ill just turn one of them into an ornament and display the other elsewhere.

I was so excited to receive this. And overall very happy. It’s frustrating that 19 days in and there have been three duplicate pieces. 2 gingerbread Iron Mans. 2 Groot. 2 gingerbread Captain Marvel. There are some cool ones like the snowman. The coolest. That should have multiple characters. So far only Captain America. I’m happy I have three Spider-Man‘s that are all different.
