> 24 hourFor all the people leaving 1 star reviews because your kids made a mess. This is not an issue with the product but an issue with your expectations and knowing nothing about the the element. Dont buy some random element your kid saw an experiment with without researching it. Furthermore you should be supervising use. 1 star parenting.

> 24 hourThis stuff is super cool. Its really fun to hold a chunk in your hand and let it melt. I would give 5 stars, but the packing wasnt the best. The tube that the gallium was in leaked a bit, so the inside of the plastic bag with it had some gallium in it. This isnt a huge deal, but gallium is super hard to clean off of anything, so it took a bit of work to clean off the tube of gallium.

> 24 hourThis stuff is really cool to play with, but BE WARNED...if you spill it it’s hard to clean. Tiny pieces will cause scuff marks when stepped on, it will stick everywhere. My son unfortunately spilled the vial while trying to put it away. But otherwise this stuff is really cool and I do recommend it. The loss of 1 star is only because it really needs to be emphasized about clean up.

> 24 hourIt was a warm day on the day my package arrived and when I went outside to get it everything seemed fine about. I brought it inside and opened the package to find a bag with an open container and liquid gallium spilled all over the bag. The container the gallium comes in is not good quality and opens pretty easily.

> 24 hourWhen you first get it, and it is in the tube, your best bet is to set the tube in some hot water, as it will take awhile for the thick cylinder of gallium to melt. But, then you can pour it out and play with it. It is messy, and will stain pretty much anything it touches. So, be careful where you play with it. You can use the syringe to pick up the liquid. What we did was to have a container of cold water ready, when we were finished playing with the liquid gallium. Place the liquid gallium right into the cold water, and it will re-solidify. Then, you can just pick it up, and put it wherever you want to store it. Once you have thinner pieces of gallium, it is pretty easy to melt it in your hand.

> 24 hourPersonally I dont see why people are buying 50 grams of gallium for their 10 year old kids and then complaining when it makes a mess. Yes welcome to chemisty. Its not a toy. Absoulty fantastic product. As far as I can tell it is atleast 99 percent pure as stated. Also to the one guy who had trouble getting it to become solid again in the reviews. You need to introduce a solid gallium crystal to it to solidify it. Next time save a small peice to not melt down and then add it back to the gallium when you want to re solidify it.
