> 3 dayWhen I first looked at this tester in hand I did not understand why the label legend only showed red and white indications. I had to use an infrared light to see which indicators on the label were supposed to be yellow. I have normal color vision. The yellow color is printed too lightly to discriminate it from the white indicator legends. It looks like several other brands of tester sold here at Amazon have the same kind of label. The yellow color shows up fine in the product photo but not so well in real life. Putting that aside, the tester seems well made. The GFCI test function works fine. The prongs are a bit thicker than they should be and the tester does not want to plug in without exerting a bit more pressure than for most plugs. The prongs, even the ground prong, are solid metal. I will find a yellow marker or something similar to try and touch up these faded little yellow symbols. It is disappointing that an otherwise fine product is marred by this sort of manufacturer carelessness. If this problem is not an issue for you, I recommend this tester. Its cheaper than most and built very solidly. I want to be able to understand at a glance what the lights are telling me. Ill be returning this and getting the more expensive (but legible) Amprobe tester instead.

> 3 dayI really like this tester. I have many outlets mounted upside down and this tester allows you to read the results on BOTH sides unlike some others on the market. Recommend!

> 3 dayWorks good and indications are accurate. My only complaint is the legend (key) of what the lights mean printed on the device cannot be read. The little ovals indicating on/off combinations are impossible to see. You cannot tell if the little oval is indicating on or off unless in bright light with the aid of magnification.

> 3 dayWorks great when it can actually get plugged in. I upgraded an outlet to a tamper resistant (TR) GFCI outlet, and it wouldnt open the shutters. Ill have to try using it connected first to a 3 prong male/female extension cord that will actually go into the outlet. (Purchased Aug 2017)

Greater than one weekI ordered one and it would not insert properly into my Tamper Resistant Receptacles. I received a replacement and the same thing was true. I took a small metal file and 30 seconds on both prongs to remove any sharp angles - it now works perfectly and inserts smoothly to all of my outlets. Overall I am happy with this tester at this price but you may need to remove burrs or angles on the spurs so the shutters on a TRR open correctly.

> 3 daymuch more sturdy than the yellow common ones out there. i am an apartment inspector and i test dozens of gfis a week. unfortunately the labels are starting to peel at the corners. im hoping i can trim the corners off with an exacto and they will stop peeling. i doubt most people will have this problem as mine lives in my pocket all day. err day.
