Garmin 010-01772-00 Foretrex 601, 2 inches

I noted the numerous poor reviews but saw the dates were from 2018-2019. I have seen photos of military personnel in Afghanistan wearing this unit. So I assumed Garmin had corrected the problems. THEY HAVE NOT!

I love just about everything about this watch. Accurate and useful. Bluetooth capable, so you can connect it to your phone for notifications. Im constantly outdoors for work, and it has pristine accuracy in the most austere and remote environments.

Got this for my step son who is in the army. He’s been demoted twice since we gifted this to him. If you have intelligence this will be 5 stars. He’s not that smart.

The Foretrex 601 seems like a very well made product with many powerful features and one glaring omission (for me anyway): there is no way to set an alarm. In watch mode it simply tells the time, nothing else (plus it turns off GPS communications, to save battery life). In navigation mode (as opposed to watch mode) it has a countdown timer, but it is limited to a maximum of 99 minutes and 59 seconds.

Llego en perfecto estado, muy fácil de usar es muy intuitivo, la duración de la batería es muy buena eso si ha que comprar unas pilas AAA de calidad.

VMG doesn’t work.
