Oh my goodness I LOVE these underwear. I put my daughter in them at 15 months and she immediately started potty training. She was able to tell me when she went to the bathroom because she could feel it wet, but we seldom got too much on the floor because the underwear are so absorbent. I first bought two sets of 4, but quickly realized that with her accidents I would need more so I ordered another 8. These are really excellent and I dont think I will go back to diapers or pull-ups while I am potty training. The quality is great, the pattern is cute, and my daughter much prefers them to diapers.

These came in a vinyl package, and they absolutely reeked of the harsh chemicals in it. I had to wash them about 7 times before it wasnt noticeable, and more before it was completely gone. I recommend buying these; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OE22MA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (The Gerber Training Pants (6-pairs) here on Amazon) as they did NOT come in the vinyl packaging and did not reek of nasty chemicals. It also says they are 100% cotton, but it is worth noting for especially sensitive little ones, that within the absorbent center panel is some kind of artificial sponge. It did not seem to affect my little one though. They are holding up pretty well, though as with anything with elastic in, you dont want to expose them to too much heat - air dry them if you can. I think one has a small hole in the top of one of the waistbands, but that is after 9 months of pretty intensive use. (And being washed with nap and bed time cloth diapers.) For those of you ECing (Elimination Communication) I started using the 18 month size when my daughter was just 18lbs, and they held themselves up rather well, even though she has a pretty skinny butt. Now that they are a little well worn they wouldnt stay up if she was still that small, but shes not so thats OK. They do absorb a fair amount - my daughter learned to control her bladder very well so that she would let out just enough to wet the panties but not leak through - sneaky! And they work well enough under fleece pants as night training panties for a light wetter/a child that is trying to hold it. They dont hold too much though, they do teach toddlers what emptying your bladder will do, they just soak up enough to make less of a mess. Overall I am very satisfied with the product itself, I just wish they wouldnt use such horrible packaging.

Ive purchased 3 different kinds of training pants so far for my 3 year old daughter (Green Sprouts, Blueberry and the Gerber heavier duty ones with the plastic layer) and these are my favorites by far. The fabric is very soft and there is no plastic, so no rustling noises when she walks. The padding will catch a very small leak, but not a lot more. Id say they are really more for 2nd stage potty training, when your little one is not having accidents at home, but you still want something with a little extra padding down there, just in case. The only downside is some slight shrinkage when laundered, but they fit quite big to begin with so it just made them a little snugger. The color is a much brighter coral than it looks in the picture. The 3T fit my 30lb 38 tall daughter perfectly.

I got these for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and we love them for her. They are thick and soft and seem to be more absorbent for the little “oh no!”moments she wets a little bit before being able to reach the potty. I purchased size 2t for her; she weighs around 26~27 pounds; 2’10” in height and typically wears size 2-3T. The Gerber sets fit her more comfortably than the previous set of training panties I bought for her by another brand; I’m not having to struggle with these like I do with the other brand’s pairs to get them pulled up and down because the other’s material isn’t as stretchy or soft as the Gerber pairs are. And because of that I also think these will be easier for her to pull up/down on her own as she’s learning to potty more independently without as much adult assistance. The prints are so cute, she’s always so proud to show me she’s wearing them because she thinks they’re “so pretty!” So I love that she loves them which helps her feel more excited about potty training in general, more confident and comfortable with no longer wearing diapers. I recommend these for anyone who has a toddler who is potty training and learning to wear big kid underwear. And I plan to purchase more as needed in the future for my daughter.

Love these for potty training. Now they arent super absorbent. If she pees fully , there will be a puddle. But what I love about it, is that she pees a little realizes o man I peed I need to run to the potty and will hold it. Other underwear even the little pees is goes down her leg or wets her pants. These fit great and I hate to use pull ups as they feel like diapers and my kid will just go and not even try to use the potty. I think they are the best potty training underwear out there.. she loves them and they feel like they would be super comfortable.

I bought Gerber training underwear 10 years ago for my boys—still have them—and they worked (still work) great. I bought this 4-pack for my little girl. I am not disappointed! She’s an average size 22 month old and the 2T size fit her well. They are thick and absorbent, so a full accident does not make such a mess. I am also noticing that partial accidents are not getting her pants wet, and I only have to change her underwear. I am so glad that I bought these instead of the cute potty training underwear available on Amazon. This is my fourth child I have potty trained using Gerber underwear, and I recommend this brand.

I bought the 2T size for my then 18 month old. The underwear is exactly what needed to fully potty train my now 2 year old. It used to be a tiny bit on the larger side, but I bought it knowing that Id rather she grew into it than buy an exact fit now and buy new ones within a few months. The material is soft, and 6 months of washing has not worn it down and not only has it stayed soft, but the padding is intact. The padding will handle about an ounce or so of liquid without making a messy puddle. That way I only have to wash the undies and her clothes and not worry about the floor. Clearly these are not meant to contain big accidents. The potty training started with my daughter peeing a bit in the underwear everytime, before she could let me know. Now 4 months later she hardly has those accidents. She now wears these as a regular everyday underwear. I love the color combination and the padding is not so thick that it shows through leggings. These are not waterproof and do not have any plastic lining or such. overall i am very happy with my purchase.

Perfect for 18m they are not too tight on the legs (problem I found with other brands) so they quite comfortable and easier for her to pull up for her than other brands. Great for outings and day care so even if she has a pre-pee she can make it to toilet without showing she had a small accident and only needs a change of underwear rather than all clothing. One but is a quality as some threads started to let go after few washings but only in one place so it was easy to fix. Still would rather use those die to comfort and ease of use rather than top quality overpriced and uncomfortable ones.

Purchased a bunch of these training underwear from amazon as well as other local retailers for kids potty training. Some potty training proponents suggest that thicker, more absorbent underwear is not the ideal training scenario, as it is desirable for the child to feel the wetness if they have an accident. For our kids, that wasnt any benefit, so we purchased some normal underwear for everyday wear, and these thicker underwear for times we are more concerned about accidents. These only go up to size 3, and they are slightly small in my opinion, I wish they were slightly bigger or offered in one size larger. For my kids between the ages of 2 and a half to 3, it fit okay, but was snug around the leg holes. If your kid has large or chubby legs, this might not fit comfortably. The underwear is well made, and the thick fabric setup does absorb most of any liquid accidents. Overall very happy with this product.

Gerber training pants are ideal for toddlers who want to feel like they"re wearing "big girl" pants while potty training and used when accidents are less frequent. Made of 100% cotton panels with an absorbent interlining. Covered elastic waistband for increased comfort and ease of pulling up and down durable, washable and reusable. Machine wash and tumble dry.
