> 3 dayI tried one pair on my daughter and she went straight through them. Her PJs were soaked. I know they are training pants but sheesh I would rather her pull ups at least she stays dry. I might have to wait until she is fully potty trained

> 3 dayMy daughter is 21 months old and started using the potty occasionally at 17 months. She is a little on the small side at only 23 lbs and the 18 month size fit her great (they run a little on the big side which surprised me since most of Gerber brand is a little on the small side). I ordered one pack of these training pants last week to see how they went. We wear them when we are staying at home because economically its cheaper to rinse out and wash the training pants than to throw out yet another diaper. To my surprise, they work well at being absorbent when she has an accident (which is about twice a day), although we do wear a vinyl cover over them. She loves putting on her big girl underwear. Between the training pants and the cover, I havent had to change her clothes once when an accident happens. Thankfully, I feel she is starting to get the point that we shouldnt have accidents in our big girl underwear because yesterday she only had 1 accident all day! I just ordered 4 more!

> 3 dayWe looked all over the stores for 18 month old underwear for our twins that were potty trained at 18 months, no luck as they start at 2 yr olds. So thankful we found these Gerber training pants! These fit great on our 18 month olds fitting into 18 month old clothes. These do not hold a lot of urine but do held protect against major accidents that might happen... There is a thicker liner on the bottom of each pair that help keep little ones drier but to let them know they have gone. These are not as thin as regular toddler underwear.

04-06-2025These came in a vinyl package, and they absolutely reeked of the harsh chemicals in it. I had to wash them about 7 times before it wasnt noticeable, and more before it was completely gone. I recommend buying these; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OE22MA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (The Gerber Training Pants (6-pairs) here on Amazon) as they did NOT come in the vinyl packaging and did not reek of nasty chemicals. It also says they are 100% cotton, but it is worth noting for especially sensitive little ones, that within the absorbent center panel is some kind of artificial sponge. It did not seem to affect my little one though. They are holding up pretty well, though as with anything with elastic in, you dont want to expose them to too much heat - air dry them if you can. I think one has a small hole in the top of one of the waistbands, but that is after 9 months of pretty intensive use. (And being washed with nap and bed time cloth diapers.) For those of you ECing (Elimination Communication) I started using the 18 month size when my daughter was just 18lbs, and they held themselves up rather well, even though she has a pretty skinny butt. Now that they are a little well worn they wouldnt stay up if she was still that small, but shes not so thats OK. They do absorb a fair amount - my daughter learned to control her bladder very well so that she would let out just enough to wet the panties but not leak through - sneaky! And they work well enough under fleece pants as night training panties for a light wetter/a child that is trying to hold it. They dont hold too much though, they do teach toddlers what emptying your bladder will do, they just soak up enough to make less of a mess. Overall I am very satisfied with the product itself, I just wish they wouldnt use such horrible packaging.

> 3 dayThese pants are quite genius for starting out potting training. They look like underwear, so my girl was open to wearing it. Gerber also makes training pants with a plastic liner in the crotch to hold a little extra pee, but my daughter didnt like the crinkle sound it makes. These are thick cotton with padding to absorb some pee when theres an accident. Put some cotton pants over these and theres some extra absorbancy. There will def be wetness down the legs. If you are looking for zero mess, then get pullup diapers, dont look here. My daughter will just pee in pullups without a care; with these she understood the concept that she needs to pee or else she gets drenched. Great motivator. My kid is 3.5 yrs old, 30 lbs and tall (slender). 3T did fit kinda big like everyone says, but after a few washes they fit a little better while staying soft. Tip: To prevent messes on dining chairs, couches and carpet, have child sit on those waterproof liners for changing pads/cribs and wash when messy. Or use disposable pet peepee pads. Less of a headache. pros: generous booty area=less wedgies! soft leg openings, like a tshirt good thick quality cotton vibrant colors great value for 4 pants

> 3 dayGreat quality training undies, they are really soft and the extra padded area in between the legs is just thick enough to hold a small pee pee or poo poo accident. They fit a little higher than most girls undies, around the waist, but thats not an issue for us, I actually like the fact that they are not hip undies. I love this undies for my twins, they are helping a lot during our potty training process. They shrink a little bit after washing them, so make sure you order one size up. My girls are 25lb @ 14 months, I ordered size 18month but had to exchange for size 2t.

> 3 dayI bought these for my daughter who is 3 years and 6 months old. She is still fond of diapers and fights potty training, so we decided to up the game with these training pants. She is much more comfortable in them. I guess they feel close to diapers because of the padded design. She is still learning to hold it and there are accidents, so I am happy to report that these pants do add some protection. The set I bought is pink solid and pink polka dot. She loves the colors. My daughter is tall, and size 3 fits her very well. If your kid is on a petit side, I would recommend to downsize.

Greater than one weekI would highly recommend purchasing a size bigger because they shrink in the dryer.
