The solution was delivered in an unsealed bottled that had been placed inside the equivalent of a large sealing sandwich bag. When the box was opened, and I pulled out the bag with the bottle in it, there were several ounces of fluid inside the bag. After using the Retayne on a dark dyed (blue) material, there was still bleeding after the wash. The material I was working with was thick so it may be more effective on a thin fabric. You can feel where it seals some of the fabric. It feels almost waxy.

I love this product. It really works. I make quilts & some of the fabric I purchase bleeds - particularly the reds & blues.

The product was fine but didnt accomplish what it was purchased for.

Disappointing, but I knew it was a gamble to try this product on a synthetic fabric. My black skirt stayed black, without even a hint of the turquoise dye I tried to tint it with.

Works well as described. Color in my pants have been retained after a few washes. However, one star off because I was sold a bottle that had electrical tape on the cap because it had a crack. Previously used? It was more trouble to return than keep since it did work. Seller should have better quality control.

This sets the dye and prevents future bleeding. I use a lot of it on the fabrics I buy and use for quilting and machine embroidery.

I cannot say enough good things about Retayne! I used to struggle with fabrics bleeding when I prewash before a sewing project. I used to wash several times. With Retayne, I can wash them once, and be confident that they will not bleed. I wish I had discovered it sooner.

This is my go-to product for pre-washing new fabrics as well as washing a quilt for the very first time. I am a quilter whose been using this product for years, and have never been disappointed once. I feel confident washing a freshly made quilt with this product.

As a quilter, I struggled to find something that would keep my fabrics from bleeding. Then I heard about Retayne. It really works! Use 1 teaspoon per 1 yard of fabric. I have been using this for about 5 years.

Not sure this works - the colors of my new dress is all over my body. Maybe I didnt use it correctly. Ill try it again.
