If you’ve ever experienced fabric bleeding on a quilt top, you know what a huge relief it is to make certain it never happens again. That is what retayne provides.

Worked as required, no bleeding of colors

I’ve been using Retayne for years to set fabric color prior to washing. I can see a huge difference in vibrancy in the items made without the color-stay. I will continue to use this product as long as I can find it.

I use to use color catchers but noticed my color didn’t always stay bright and thst I sometimes had to was bright colors like red, blue and green more than ones. Since using Retayne for all colored cotton quilting fabric that comes through my door I notice such a change in the brightness. You can pin brights in hot water with the Retayne and color does not bleed from the start. It’s amazing!!!!!

A must have for every quilter. You use Retayne in hot water to set the dye, but you MUST wash the fabric in cold water for it to keep the fabric from bleeding in the future. That should probably be on the label.

I am a quilter and often fabrics I use run. It can ruin a quilt when washing. I use this product to keep it from happening. I soak the fabrics before I even start. So far it has worked on reds, purples, and navy.
