> 3 dayI thought it was a poor redesign, adding a power cable to a battery-operated device just to use AC. The original, I have one, was just hard wired no battery. The new version is now battery driven; you add a hard wire to use AC power. I understand that battery is a now a backup backup... the design should have been to keep it a hardwired device and add a battery to it. We use the camera for our Cottage security.

06-06-2025It’s definitely a premium cable. Long enough to connect the camera to the height needed. Cable that comes with the camera is basically to charge the camera. Not meant to be used for 24 hours use.
