Google Nest Cam Weatherproof Cable for Nest Cam (Battery) Only - 720p -Snow - 5m

The cord seems durable and it works well. My only complaint is that I think they could provide a way to wind or store the cord better.

I ordered several Google nest cams (wireless) online that came without the charging cords. Was concerned that these was not work, but they work beautifully. A real cost savings for me.

I wanted to keep my Battery Google Nest Camera plugged in as it is more responsive than in Battery mode. Unfortunately my electrical plug was between the 5 and 10 meter options available. I bought the 10 meter to ensure I could reach the plug but ended up with a lot of cable that needed to be hidden. The cable works just fine, but I wish there were other choices than just 5 and 10 meters.

Meets requirements

Wanted a spare charging cable. Works as it should. No problems.

The plug can be inserted either direction, but only one way will charge your camera. The cable is angled, so the correct way makes the camera cable stick out the front of the camera, rather than the rear. I just don’t know what they were thinking. The plug (camera side) is also VERY soft and fragile, so when you’re trying to snake it through a half inch hole, it gets easily damaged, forcing you to throw away a $40 cable and order a new one. Just poor design….

The Nest Cam was good before the installation of this, but the motion sensing could be a little spotty at best, especially at night. After installing this cable, which by the way, was super easy with the included cable management accessories, it picks up everything I want it to and more! I actually had to adjust the zones so that my neighbor doesnt set it off while hes in his own yard. If you have the Nest Cam within 10 meters of an outlet, I highly suggest getting this cable. The peace of mind is worth it.

Very long and weather proof

Using this to plug in a battery operated camera that gets a lot of activity and was using up battery quickly. Long enough to hide and connect without additional drop cords. Highly recommend.

The camera cable doesnt charge making it useless.
