it opens and closes very easily. i bough because of the design and size. a little disappointed. The design is only on the inside. the outside is like black plastic. i am afraid if i use the tab that goes around to keep it closed it will rip a hole . once you have the umbrella out of the sleeve . well there is no going back. no way can you get this back in side that sleeve. so now i have a short fat umbrella . i put it in a plastic bag to contain the size.

I love the open & close button a must have in an umbrella.

Very sturdy and well made mini umbrella at a good price.

It’s not quite as small as I thought it would be but it fits very well into my leather bag and my hiking backpack and it is very sturdy for a compact umbrella. I have used it several times so far and it’s been holding up very well.

This umbrella inverted with the first gust of wind. It is lightweight and compact, but did not work for me on a windy day.

I bought this because I wanted a very compact umbrella for a trip I was taking. This was perfect except it’s very hard to retract. I really had to pull it hard. Maybe there’s a trick I don’t know about? But it’s very easy to expand with a button and it’s heavy duty enough for wind.

This is a sturdy umbrella.
