Gorilla Waterproof Caulk & Seal 100% Silicone Sealant, 10oz Cartridge, Clear (Pack of 1)

Smells completely toxic and will definitely cause migraines for a few hours. I made the mistake of caulking the inside of the cabinet under my sink without a mask and the smell stung my nose immediately and I felt it go down lungs. It stunk up my kitchen for an entire day and I had air out my kitchen with a strong fan for a whole day until it finally went away. After the smell had gone away, I checked the caulk and it was dried out but still had a rubbery feel to it. All in all, its a great caulk and it gets the job done. I recommend using a gas mask when applying and only use for outdoors.

This is an excellent sealant. I’ve used a lot of caulks, and this is one that holds true to it’s stated cure time of 30 minutes, even in wet conditions. I used this to seal a few gaps on my porch because water was getting into the house through the brick of my mud room steps. This worked great. I used a standard caulk gun to apply it. The only negatives I will say is that it lays on pretty thick. Most clear caulks dry truly clear, this looks more like a thick glue so it isn’t the prettiest application. Also, it’s pretty slick — my porch got very slippery along the wood until I scraped away the excess. Overall, great.

This product is nothing short of amazing. I have never seen caulking apply so smoothly - no air bubbles whatsoever. It makes a rookie such as myself - look great. It applies like liquid glass - clear from the tube. I have never seen anything like this product. Not to forget cleanup. Cleaning up after usage is very easy. All of the blocks are checked off with this product. Try it - and you will see how amazing it is.

I like the Gorilla brand. Is always perfect for what I need it for. I used this to seal my sunroof, hasnt leaked yet. To repair the loop on my Bluetooth before it broke and cracked the wires. Its pliable so it doesnt hurt my ear, actually pretty soft. Doesnt look pretty, but it works.

Im building a Paladarium and used this as adhesive for the backing of the tank. The smell is super strong and Ill have to delay work on the project until the smell dissipates. Maybe a week or more. Other than that, its crystal clear and works great.

I bought this to see if the gorilla name was a better product than regular 100% silicon caulk/adhesive. There is no difference other than paying 2x more for the name gorilla... 100% silicon caulk is the same product...

So yeah, the caulking is great. I dont know if it will hold up out side in California summers for years. But the best thing is the nozzle. When you use it, there is no way to stop the caulking left in any tube of caulking from hardening. Even the caulking condoms dont work. But these, these, you can unscrew the nozzle from the main tube and take out the dried stuff, while the caulking in the tube is still usable. This is the first caulking I have been able to use a year or 2 after cutting the tip.

This caulking smells so bad I thought my sewer lines were backed up in my bathroom and was going to call a plumber. It’s been a few days since I applied it and it still smells. I’m not sure what’s going on.

It does its job but once you get it on your hands, youre doomed. Soap and water wont get it off, unlike other brands Ive used such as DAP. I had to break out the paint thinner because trying to wash my hands in the sink only made it worse. This makes it very difficult to work with.
