What can I say? It has the weight, easy pull, easy load, robust construction, and choice of 2 wire sizes.

There are some nice little design features that make me like the dual height design more than expected. I am running 3 types of solder on mine with a full size roll up top and two half height rolls on the bottom. The wire solder guide works very well. You can reverse on of them to allow you to use this holder to supply solder to two people on other sides of the workbench. I have purchased 4 different dispensers as Im finding gear to setup a production line and this and Hakkos single spool are definitely work the moderate price premium. The best tool is one that just gets out of the way. I forget this is there, until I run out of solder. Cant give it a higher recommendation than that.

Works fine but take note that unit will accomodate max solder roll width of 2.5. I was hoping to accomodate two different width solder rolls. 2.5 and 3.1W, so disappointed by lack of spec info. Product dimensions state: 3.4 wide. this is the overall outer dimension footprint of the base.

Also wire rolls. Fantastic for electronics set ups.

This is a must have if you are using a lot of solder wire and/or sizes. Very sturdy construction at a great price.

I was worried this would tip over, but it has a heavy base and is very stable. The hardware is all good quality for the money except for the rollers, which are plastic. There is also a grounding screw in the base, which is a nice touch. It is pretty easy to put together. You just need a Philips screwdriver.

I didnt realize how heavy this stand was until I received it. Its made of solid steel plates. That is so nice! No tipping over or sliding around the work area.

Stable and good construction. Id buy again if I needed one.

just received this but it seems like a nice idea. with 2 spools, the combined weight will keep it from moving around on your bench. I have 2 thicknesses of solder so the dual spool idea makes perfect sense. paint finish was top quality. this seems like a good deal for those who do a lot of soldering.
