> 3 dayThis stand takes away one source of frustration if you do a lot of soldering. The spool holder makes it much easier to use the solder quickly and smoothly. One problem Ive encountered though is that when you have a large spool of really thin gauge lead-based solder, the solder will tend to break when you pull on it because of the weight of the spool versus the strength of really thin gauge solder. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to use ball bearings in the spool holders so that thin solder doesnt break during use. If you plan to use really thin gauge lead solder, I suggest getting smaller spools to use with this holder. The larger spools are just too heavy to rotate easily.

> 3 dayi had the single reel hakko and it was meh. it has some issues which i wish they would have corrected and in this dual version everything except the plastic spools which is not that big of a deal breaker is better. i also love that this version has a handle so when i move to one of my other stations i dont have to now have multiple rolls at every single place i need it like i used to, and the single roll version the rolls basically fall right out if you tilt it, just grab this with the handle and move it where i need it. i ended up buying 4 of these to hold all the variants of solder i normally use. and its quick enough to swap out rolls for the times i use something less common. the setup i had before (and is still in use as i have a TON of various solder rolls) was something i made and it works awesome but is not mobile and mounted to the wall. im going to make something to hold these dual reels and again when i need to grab one and go its easy, the one thing i do wish it had is some kind of tagging system to say what solder is which. i had to use my ptouch brother to make small stickers to mark which is which.

> 3 dayThis helps make the wok area more efficient. I use the 1st one for 2 sizes of solder and I Use this one to hold magnet jumper wire and 2 sizes of solder wick.

> 3 dayYa its expensive, but its fantastic. Heavy enough so that you wont ever worry about it falling over while using the top spool.

> 3 dayReally helpful in keeping the work bench tidy! The stand is very solid and the base is heavy enough that it all stays put on the bench when pulling the solder out. It holds pretty much any diameter reel and very easy to switch out if you need to. The fact that it holds two reels is why I went for this one as opposed to the single one. I use two different gauge solder on my projects and this keeps both in good reach.
