> 3 dayVery well built, feels very solid. There is even a point to connect a grounding wire if you are particularly concerned about ESD. My only complaint is that it is a bit expensive for what it is, but I have no doubts it will last for decades so Im not that upset about it.

Greater than one weekI had one episode of the thing falling on the floor when an admittedly unusual situation developed. Assembly is not difficult, but it does require some dexterity, and the instructions are not perfect. I would also prefer that the spools were steel (they are plastic). Pretty handy thing to have.

> 3 dayThis stand takes away one source of frustration if you do a lot of soldering. The spool holder makes it much easier to use the solder quickly and smoothly. One problem Ive encountered though is that when you have a large spool of really thin gauge lead-based solder, the solder will tend to break when you pull on it because of the weight of the spool versus the strength of really thin gauge solder. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to use ball bearings in the spool holders so that thin solder doesnt break during use. If you plan to use really thin gauge lead solder, I suggest getting smaller spools to use with this holder. The larger spools are just too heavy to rotate easily.
