> 3 dayPros: DUSTER (this thing is the best and is worth getting this brand over others that dont provide one), got rid of all my bugs Cons: None I got this as I was having a roach problem (first-floor apartment in Florida) despite keeping an other wise very clean house. If I turned on the lights at 2 AM, I could sometimes see one or two on my countertops. Otherwise, I would just see their droppings and know they had been there. It was gross. And it was primarily in my kitchen (especially at the sink and dishwasher). I also had a fair amount of small weevils. They never got into any food, but at my peak, I was finding 5-10 per day on the walls or baseboards of my apartment wandering around. I have a dog and the problem was in my kitchen and on my countertops. I chose this product because its safe for everyone involved (except those pesky bugs!) and would be okay if some residue got into either my dogs food or my food. Plus I wanted to avoid chemicals in case my dog decided to go sniffing or lick the floor. I decided that I would strike a hard and fast first blow in this war on bugs. I generously lined my doors and window sill in case that was how they were getting in. I also had an outdoor closet that I know they were running through so that got a very heavy dose along the entire floor. Some advice says not to do more than a dusting because the bugs will just stay away instead of getting killed. Living in an apartment, Im not going to try to kill all the bugs that other residents might be bringing in. I just want them to stay away from me, so I was fine with a heavy coat. I also took the duster and hit everywhere that I had seen a roach. It was great for blasting all the back behind the dishwasher/oven/refrigerator as I couldnt pull those items out to get behind them. The duster can shoot several feet if needed. I also gave a nice dusting under the sink and in certain corners of the cabinetry that were walled off but could easily be accessed by bugs (I was pretty sure thats where they were coming from anyway). The duster is key. It allows you to get to places where the bugs can get but you cant. The first couple days, I found a few dead weevils (I saw many more of these so this was to be expected). It has been two weeks and no roach sightings or droppings. I could barely go a week without seeing at least one little dropping on my countertops. Its a miracle.

> 3 dayI was at the end of the rope on what to do about our flea infestation. My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat is constantly coming into contact with neighboring cats - that coupled with the unusual heat weve had this summer - seems to have exacerbated our flea problem. Ive used the awful and toxic flea bombs - on several occasions, have used the expensive flea sprays, used a variety of medication on my cat, and have given my cat several baths - which if you knew my cat - you would know how dangerous that in itself is - because he hates water. After extensive research I came across this product, and what first grabbed my attention was the fact that the food grade is not toxic to humans or pets. I have a child in my home and was fearful of introducing anymore chemicals into the home; I also was fearful of putting more toxic chemicals on my cat. I treated my entire home with this stuff, along with my yard and the exterior of my home (window sills, entry ways). Now.....this stuff is really - really messy. I wasnt sure that I could handle white powder being everywhere but I was desperate to see if this product was effective at killing fleas - as it claimed to be. I sprinkled this product in the interior of my entire home, and didnt touch the product at all and let it sit overnight. (Around 17 hours) When I got up the next morning, I put a pair of white socks on so that I could see whether or not any fleas jumped on me. At first I was horrified as I literally had hundreds of fleas on my socks. I was discouraged as I first thought that this product was ineffective - not realizing the fleas were actually scrambling to stay alive. Prior to using this product - I had never seen that many fleas in my home. Seeing that many fleas made me realize just how effectice the product was as it drew the fleas out of the carpet as they were trying to get away from the product. I vacuumed up the product - vacuuming my entire home - and didnt see anymore fleas. Later that evening I vacuumed again - even the hardwood floors - and have only seen a total of two fleas. I understand that I need to vacuum - vacuum - vacuum. I still havent let my cat back inside as I have to treat him again. At present I mix this product with his cat food to help treat him from the inside - I also rubbed some of this product into his coat. This product has been extremely effective - Im embarrassed to admit that I dont usually write reviews - especially not this long. But because of how impressed I am with this product and how effective it really is, I wanted to share this information in the event it helps someone else.

Greater than one weekThis stuff works! I live in an older house. Its full of spiders. Mostly brown recluse. Ive tried everything to get rid of them aside from calling an exterminator. I wanted something safe to use because I have a cat. So I tried DE. I havent seen any spiders since I put it down. Earwigs seem to be an issue this year. DE dont kill them but they dont like it. Also the ant invasion on my back porch is almost gone. No beetles, no stink bugs, no snails sliming up my front door! Im telling you bugs wont cross it. Dont be too heavy applying it inside the house. A light dusting is enough. Otherwise you will have a mess thats hard to clean up. Outside will have to be reapplied after it rains.
