I purchased this item for my chickens. I enjoy the little poofer that it came with. It really makes it easy to distribute the product quickly and in targeted areas. I feel like this also uses less of the product, and I would order again once the supply runs out.

Was able to use garden duster by sealing the crack with my finger. Have since glued it with a flexible clear adhesive. Will have to see if duster works now. Dusted a few fire ant mounds, and after more than 48 hours, they still are popping out when the mound is disturbed. Will try to greatly disturb the mound and dust the swarm, that way they drag it back in with them and hopefully contaminate others.

I thought it was great, the ziplock on the bag is not great, but the product itself is fantastic, just used it for my first 10 day cleanse, cant wait for my next round, I feel great!

Ok like... Im really not sure how many stars to give this product. Let me explain why. This stuff gets literally everywhere. You know how cornstarch is? Like you just kind of touch it and it sticks to your fingers in this weird chalky layer? Yeah, its like that... except, this stuff aerosolizes easily, meaning that if you even just blow on it the tiniest bit or theres even the smallest gust of wind or even you just move your darn hand, it goes into the air in tiny particles. And those tiny particles.. are horrendous for your lungs. It can lead to all sorts of lung complications. So, just use it inside, right? Yes. Except.. no vacuuming. It will clog your filter and every vacuum Ive ever owned had an exhaust port, meaning that it would just... blow it all into the air if I tried to use it. And then Id breathe in the silicon, sooo thats not good. But whats the big deal, right? Its just silicon. well it turns out that the way Diatomaceous Earth works is that when little critters with exoskeletons walk over it, it cuts them up microscopically. They eventually die! Yay. Except... it also cuts up our lungs. Therefore, when you use this SAFELY, theres nothing wrong with it. Dont breathe it in (and for the love of God dont snort it). However, because of all the safety issues with aerosolizing it, I wont touch the stuff. Even just open the bag creates powder that floats up into the air! Its ridiculous. but the thing is, thats just how it is - any brand of diatomaceous earth will be the same way. So thats why I still give it 4 stars. It also does seem to work to kill ants. Its just that it... gets.. EVERYWHERE. I wish they didnt put the (rather giant) powder applicator IN the bag. Gosh, its so hard to get it off of anywhere... ALSO when you apply it JUST APPLY A TINY MIST. Dont try to drown them like youre adding flour to a cake. It should be a fine mist that you can barely see. If you can see the powder its too much according to the internet. Its just... so hard to apply! If you have to clean it, I recommend wetting the powder that you applied and then wiping it up. I can still see some powder in my carpet near the baseboards and Im scared to clean it because I dont want to breathe it in. :)

This should be everyones daily vitamin. It is excellent to drink with LOTS of water. Ive researched quite a bit about it - DE has helped so many people with so many health problems, aches and pains especially. I originally got it for my garden to rid it of water bugs, ants and spiders and it worked instantly and it comes with a spray bottle that puffs it into the air to spread it as a mist. You must wear a mask and protect your eyes. They are all gone. Instant results. It is made of the oldest life form on earth- ground into a flour like powder and it cuts their body and they dehydrate. Then I started to read DEs health benifits and I started missing it with water and fresh lemon juice and I am on day six. It gives you energy and cleanses your entire system. It has saved people from surgeries and somehow activates our cells to heal. It is a negative ion that attracts all the junk built up in our bodies and actually cleanses your entire body. Rids parisites too. Do your own research and be amazed. I couldnt find anything bad about it except make sure you get food grade earth not pool grade! pool grade is made differently for the pool and of course would be deadly. To inhale it causes irritation and not good. So wear a mask for spraying but once ithe DE most clears and settles it is safe to come into contact with it or so I read. Its the cloud of powder that isnt good to breath but spooning it into your drink isnt causing dust so its safe. Wear gloves when taking from the bag. It will irritate your hands. Safe for kids and pregnant women- I read this numeral times in my research and even read it helped a boy with behavioral issues. He just started to behave all on his own. His mother was amazed and didnt do anything differently. While it is detoxing your body you may feel sick, like a day of feeling sick to your stomach. I felt this quite a few days and this means the earth is cleansing in a needed area. I also had a few headaches. But nothing serious and you can cut back on the dose but it passes and then you just feel GOOD again more and more energy each day. I read it helps with weight loss because it cleanses the intestines and the fat cells so its easier to burn the fat because. Its no longer stored. I feel trimmer and lost 5 pounds in 6 days. I also didnt eat much a few of those days- I stuck to soup and fiber filled foods. Drink plenty of water. Start with half a teaspoon the first three days and then a teaspoon for a week and then you can add a second teaspoon. Whatever your body doesnt need it just passes through your system so you cant od on it- ha. Take it in the morning on an empty stomach. It makes you feel full and mix it with 12 oz of water and drink a full glass of water after. Lots of water throughout the day. I add some DE to my shampoo for dandruff and add some to my Sappho bamboo charcoal soap when I wash my face. That soap is awesome. Amazing difference! It will also kill lice if you rub it dry into dry scalp. Bedbugs too. I took the time to write all this to inspire you to try this awesome life changing miricle. It will heal your body in so many ways you will want everyone you know and love to take it. I was not asked to write any of this and I bought it by chance and its a must. Its a wow. I was a little hesitant when I bought this. I keep my place clean, but I have a cat and a neighborhood full of ants. Every summer they come into my house and always find the catfood I have left out for my cat. I have tried everything and nothing has worked long term. However, I laid some of this inside the house and the ants disappeared. I bought food gade and my cat is perfectly good with it. Then I put it around outside and the ants disappeared from my yard (a deck in the back and a small sliver of plants in the front of my house). I have to replace it when it rains hard, but the fact that I dont have to worry about ants in my house makes it 100% worth it. I have already recommended it to anyone and everyone that listens to me. I am now recommending it to you if you have ants. I do not know if it works on all ants, but it did on mine.

I put this around the perimeter of my home inside and out! I haven’t seen any crawling bugs in a LONG TIME! I am getting ready to move to a new location and I’ll definitely be using this product to get rid of AND prevent any unwanted critters from entering my home.

I deducted a star only because I really didnt want to root around in the bag of powder to find the duster. A better way to make that accessible would be nice. I had a problem with ants around my raised garden beds. A dusting of this yesterday, seems to have solved the problem for now.

I use this in all the corners and crevasses in my RV. Keeps the bugs from infesting it while we arent using it.
