> 3 dayThese fantastic little filters, while not being actually HEPA rated (theyre HEPA-type) do an amazing job of catching all the detritus floating around our house. We have a cat and a dog, and both are in a constant state of confusion over what season it is thanks to the miracles of indoor air conditioning, and so are always bulking up fur and then shedding it. I bought a tower style air purifier for our bedroom on a whim, and these as its replacement filters, not really expecting much. After four months, I went to swap them out and was amazed/disgusted by the amount of stuff trapped in these filters. Im actually going to be changing them every three months now instead of every four. Weve noticed a marked improvement in air quality (in particular, my wifes allergies seem to be less triggered - even though these arent true HEPA filters, they still do a great job reducing allergens in the air), and have bought an additional air purifier were running in another room with the same filters. I cant imagine upgrading to the true HEPA filters would be worth it for what they cost, when these already do such a great job.

Greater than one weekMost of the time, the off brand products work just fine. I did not find that to be the case with this type of replacement filter. These AER filters are worth every penny. Change your filters regularly!!! These are the best filters period!

> 3 dayNot real positive that this filter is any better than the regular but giving it a chance. The filters are great no matter which you use.

Greater than one weekAer1 filter not the HEPA filter. First thing you should know reading this review I live in the country and share my home with a few dogs and cats. As I understood the information for the filter it should be good for 3 months, that is not the case in my home. I think its been almost a month. Ive seen people ask if you can clean it, so I tried with the filter I took out. I blew the dust out and hosed it off when it dried it still was dingy. Today I took my new filter outside and blew the dust out with the air compressor it looked about the same as the old filter I blew out and rinsed off. (Before and after pictures with review) This will extend the life to make it the full month. If you are like me and would like to have this in your subscribe and save and you have multiple furry house pets, and live in the country you might want to purchase the filter every month.

> 3 dayWanted a cheap white table for my small bedroom. Ordered it Saturday afternoon and it arrived on Tuesday during the week of Thanksgiving. I have a tiny bedroom and actually bought it based on the complaints about its size. My bedroom is small and Ill soon have a 25 flatscreen to sit on top and I think itll be perfect. Note the space between the bottom and top boards of this thing is smaller than it looks. It sits pretty low to the floor but this is what I wanted. Looks like it could comfortably house a cable box, video games, maybe a small storage bin. Thats enough for me. It was so easy to put together a caveman could do it. Its literally just inserting poles in holes and screwing in bolts. Took 10 whole min to put together like the directions promised. I like it. For some reason, Ive seen larger tables of this brand for less money, but Im satisfied. Btw, those are an 8 tablet and medium drink cup in the photo so you can get a better idea of the size.

> 3 dayIm wondering if anyone else had had same issue. We noticed a burning rubber/plastic smell in all of our air purifiers after installing these filters. Assuming there is a connection between new filters and the smell. Didnt see any signs of melting or harm, figured it was just the filter itself.

Greater than one weekIts always hard for me to tell how good of a job the filter is doing because my air isnt extremely dirty even without the purifier. For me, the proof is visible when its time to replace the old filter and seeing the drastic color difference between the old filter and new filter. This assures me its doing a good job. Although its one of the more expensive AER1 filters, its also the most effective one offered (in my opinion). Theres also a saving in the frequency of replacements because Holmes suggests changing the filter every 12 months. Personally, I change my filters about ever 9 months just to make sure theyre doing the best job possible. This HEPA filter is the way to go if anybody in the home suffers from indoor allergies or asthma. The high quality filter makes an improvement in symptoms almost guaranteed. I dont recommend this filter for those who smoke inside their home because it doesnt do a good job eliminating smoke odor.

> 3 dayPrices are becoming a thing, so the simple fact that I could find the necessary products and get them at a decent price, its definitely worth the wait

> 3 dayIm using this with my Holmes model HAP412 air purifier. It fits perfectly and is well-made, with a nice rubber seal around the edges and a solid band of glue that seals the filter parts together. It has much better construction quality than some generic replacements Ive tried. It is more expensive, of course, than the generics, but doesnt fall apart as the cheap ones have. It includes the plastic ears that clip onto the Holmes and hold the filter in place. This is touted as being their odor reducing filter that uses charcoal, baking soda and other ingredients. It does seem to cut down on odors more so than the regular filers (HAPF30 and BAPF30 models). No, it wont make a stinky room instantly smell like a mountaintop chalet, but it does put a noticeable dent in odor (in my case, smoking smells). To extend the life of the filter and boost the odor grabbing capabilities, I also use a generic carbon filter that I cut to fit, and place on the outward-facing side of the filter. (This is the version I use:
