> 3 dayShed fibers like crazy. Whatever youre doing with it, youll spend as much time cleaning up all the shrapnel as whatever youre working on.

> 3 dayWorked well for cleaning rust from metal, but almost too harsh for fine jobs like gun barrels. Any parts not blued or with a fine finish should be safe to be lightly scrubbed to remove burrs and rust.

> 3 dayI bought this to clean household windows because I noticed that the professionals do use 0000 steel wool, Not bronze wool but steel. However Im not sure what kind (brand) they use but all the seel I have used have rusted within one hour so I switched to this bronze. The Pros told me NOT to push (rub) too hard or you can leave scratches. I finished my parents house and I did notice some scratches however I am not sure if it was me or someone else. The house is 30 years old. My advice is to test a window or two and not the main living room windows, first. This product did not specifically say that its #0000. This troubles me a bit. I would recommend it but not guarantee against any or all scratches. I would call a pro, Im going to, and find out what exactly they use before I buy any more wool.

> 3 dayThis stuff is great for projects around the house, and mine was removing light corrosion from some antique firearms. If you happen to be looking for this for that reason-it works great. Just use plenty of oil and be sure not to let too much grit build up on the same spot of wool.

> 3 dayI bought this product to clean my stainless steel exhaust headers with a cleaner-polish product by Borla. I could never get all of the black carbon grime and buildup using that cleaner with microfiber towels. The bronze wool worked perfectly; you could feel it scraping off the buildup. However, because it is so soft the wool didnt scratch or abrade the stainless steel. I was very, very impressed and satisfied. I assume this three pack will last well over a year for at least this limited purpose.

> 3 dayBronze is softer than steel, and bronze wool is softer than steel wool, with the added benefit that it does not rust. My friend uses this fine brass wool wrapped around a small round brass brush with bore cleaner to clean his shotgun barrel after going to the range. It removes the lumps of lead that build up without scratching the barrel.

> 3 dayThe pads are thin and break up easily. The last time I bought bronze wool it was well worth the money as the pads were hefty and really lasted. I used one pad up really quickly oil buffing a door handle and thumb latch. The finished product is awesome so my idea an technique were fine but the disintegrating pad and fine bronze particles were kind of a pain but wiped up easily. The other two I used up rapidly cleaning ceramic tiles. Again the tiles are great. But the pads were gone very fast.

> 3 dayPleased with the results, although you need to use only a small amount at a time because is breaks down and crumbles as its used. I used it in place of steel wool after waxing painted furniture with Annie Sloan products with quick, excellent results.
