Greater than one weekIt’s quite beautiful. One has to snap the lines mid-open, to open it. One of my little clips was broken. As I need it tomorrow, I won’t return it. The black under cover is soft and nothing like my garbage bags. It’ll work to keep the sun off of me tomorrow.

> 3 dayDefinitely creates good shade here in Florida. I wish the canopy were larger, and I definitely wish the handle and stem were sturdier! It was a two person job to get it open the first time, and I havent dared double fold it again, not sure the joints would take it (though this is the second one of these Ive owned and the other folded and unfolded just fine!) But the design on the exterior is exactly as it looked in pictures, and is very pretty. I get lots of compliments. (Though I get lots of compliments on any parasol I carry! But this one is definitely a step up from paper!)

Greater than one weekThis is an umbrella with a lacey overlay, NOT a parasol. Its heavy like an umbrella, has the water resistant cheap looking fabric base, and the strap that is supposed to hold the umbrella closed when not in use is in the inside, so you would have to take each metal prong apart to be able to use it, rendering it useless, so its difficult to store.

> 3 dayI got it as a gift for my roommate and i thought it was very nice up until we went to a picnic and the handle piece fell right off very disappointing. We didn’t notice until we sat down and saw that it had no handle.

Greater than one weekDifficult to get it out and unfold. It was even more difficult to fold it up up. Not very practical for everyday use or occasional use. It is not a pull out, pop up, use. It will take a moment. Not recommended for rainy days where you want to pop in and out.

> 3 dayThe parasol is as beautiful in person as in the photos. The clever folding system allows it to fit into a smaller bag (beautiful one supplied) than would normally be anticipated. Yes, the parasol is delicate, but that is the nature of parasols. I love the lining: I have somewhat photosensitive skin, and the lining is an awesome UV protector!

> 3 dayFirst off, I got the wrong color in the mail, which Im hoping Ill get fixed at some point when the sellers get back to me. Second, the design is very cute, but it is a paaaaain in the butt to unfold. Its one of the parasols that snap back upwards so you need to fold down every spine. I think the fabric is a little tight on it because I kept having the issue where folding down one part would make the opposite side snap back up. I was in tears with frustration. So Im probably never closing it again.
