> 3 dayThe item is beautiful. I cannot wait to give it to my mom for mother’s day. My only complaint, and the reason why I took a star away, was the umbrella mechanism. It is pretty clunky and hard to gather all the folded section to close it and tie it closed.

> 3 dayIt’s quite beautiful. One has to snap the lines mid-open, to open it. One of my little clips was broken. As I need it tomorrow, I won’t return it. The black under cover is soft and nothing like my garbage bags. It’ll work to keep the sun off of me tomorrow.

> 3 dayThis is the first parasol I have bought and I am absolutely pleased. I was afraid that it would look cheap and would be shoddily constructed. However, the embroidered designs and sequence are all well done and the construction of the parasol as a whole is well made. I bought the triple folding one to put into my purse/bag for when I go out (for any reason). I live in New Mexico and the sun is very direct and has become somewhat painful due to medications I take, but the parasol has worked great. I am shielded from the worst of the heat and is pretty wind resistant. The only negative or two is that the case that holds the parasol is extremely hard to get back in after the first fold. I would have also loved a bigger loop to put over my wrist. Otherwise, it is far prettier and well made than I would have believed and thought. If only they had complimentary fans to go with the parasol I would be set. I would definitely recommend and am gonna buy a few more for different occasions. **UPDATE** So I have had this parasol for over a year and it is truly a pleasure to use. I continuously receive compliments from people, and I am more than happy to tell them where I got it on Amazon. I also inform them that it is not just pretty but absolutely effective at protecting me from the sun. I live in New Mexico and the average temperature has been in the 90s so I use it to go to and from my appointments and errands. I dont even fold it all the way down as it slides into my purse (its medium to large purse). If there was anything I would change it would be the length of the handle. I would like it to be a few inches longer as I have a shoulder and arm injury and keeping my arm lifted, even slightly, for any period aggravates my injury. However, the usefulness makes it worth the discomfort. The other change would be to the handles itself. It is cute but almost impractical. I would love it to be a handle to slide my fingers through to have a more solid hold onto it Again, it is not such an issue that it prevents me from taking it with me everywhere. Now, that I have found out how great it is, I am about to buy several more to have for different outfits, events etc...If anyone is thinking to buy one, this is a great one to start out on. I have not been compensated for my opinion, I simply want to let people know a good buy.

> 3 dayFirst off, I got the wrong color in the mail, which Im hoping Ill get fixed at some point when the sellers get back to me. Second, the design is very cute, but it is a paaaaain in the butt to unfold. Its one of the parasols that snap back upwards so you need to fold down every spine. I think the fabric is a little tight on it because I kept having the issue where folding down one part would make the opposite side snap back up. I was in tears with frustration. So Im probably never closing it again.

Greater than one weekIts a beautiful parasol. People have told me in the street and on the train what a beautiful umbrella. Its a conversation piece and it makes you feel good. The only problem I have with this parasol is trying to open it. Thanks Louise

> 3 dayI am totally into gothic lolita fashion, but you can carry this anywhere at any time. Sometimes with casual clothes even, it doesnt have to be lolita. But the construction of the umbrella is excellent, truly blocks out sunlight. Ive brought it to the beach, and everywhere around SoCal during the 100 degree heatwaves, it saves lives! The only thing is, the way to put it away is very hard, because its sooo thick and bulky, its very very hard to put away efficiently. They should have made the closing strap have more room. I feel like Im super stretching that cord just to tie it up again.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is of beautiful style, the lace and flowers are lovely! It is medium quality, but look what you pay for it. Opening it is fairly easy, and has some origami like qualities when it comes to folding it back up. But overall I am happy with this product.

> 3 dayThis parasol is both lovely and functional. In my part of the U.S., the summers are hot and humid. This parasol makes it possible for me to go outside anyway. The outside is VERY glittery--if youre not into sparkle, then its not for you. And yes, it is lined with solid black vinyl--that actually keeps the sun from shining through. You are taking your own shade with you wherever you go.
