> 3 dayYes it is a 3 part fold umbrella, some find this hard to open and close. It is a little flimsy. Do not use this one a windy day it will brake, but thats most umbrellas. The handle is a little on the thin side. The water proof fabric on the under side is ok, not the best but not horrible. The lace however is the real problem in the rain. it is more for decoration or to use to block UV raise. It is a parasol and parasol are made to block the sun not rain. It does come with that cute little hand bag though.

Greater than one weekThe parasol is as beautiful in person as in the photos. The clever folding system allows it to fit into a smaller bag (beautiful one supplied) than would normally be anticipated. Yes, the parasol is delicate, but that is the nature of parasols. I love the lining: I have somewhat photosensitive skin, and the lining is an awesome UV protector!

> 3 dayThe first one I bought was extremely difficult to open- i gave up after three tries and hurting my wrist. the seller happily sent me another one though- all of the parasols from this seller are just gorgeous- i cant get over how beautiful they are.... do be prepared for a smaller sized parasol (its not as large as an umbrella), but it came in a cute carrying bag and does go with my outfits (i like pastels and creams) which is why i went with a parasol over the UV blocking umbrellas which tend to be darker.

> 3 dayThis is an absolutely gorgeous Parasol! Charming and feminine, I purchased this style for an upcoming trip to Las Vegas, where it is crazy hot. I burn easily, and I hope this parasol will do the trick. My friends love it, and so do I. Cant wait to take it on vacation, and be protected from the hot sun in style!

> 3 dayThis umbrella is absolutely beautiful, and I love carrying it. However, its fabric material is delicate even though structurally, the umbrella parts are sound. It is made of a fabric and lace material, and the thread has already snagged in one area. It is hard to protect it since I cannot make it fit into its original case after opening it the first time. It is gorgeous though, and I love it. Just be aware, this isnt a regular umbrella or sunbrella. You must treat it delicately when putting it away. This is its main con in my opinion. Its a high maintenance umbrella, but it is very pretty. It would also be nicer if it were an automatic one push to open umbrella which it is not.

> 3 dayDefinitely creates good shade here in Florida. I wish the canopy were larger, and I definitely wish the handle and stem were sturdier! It was a two person job to get it open the first time, and I havent dared double fold it again, not sure the joints would take it (though this is the second one of these Ive owned and the other folded and unfolded just fine!) But the design on the exterior is exactly as it looked in pictures, and is very pretty. I get lots of compliments. (Though I get lots of compliments on any parasol I carry! But this one is definitely a step up from paper!)
