Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

We bought several of these alarms to mount as deterrents in most of the rooms with an outside access point. They are great for scaring off intruders especially with the warble tone.

very loud, what more could you expect

These are super loud. More than I expected. I got a couple for my smart home system and hooked them up using a standard 12v power supply (like tons of modern electronics use; routers, tv boxes, etc.) and a smart plug. Just set the smart plug as one of the devices that is turned on if the alarm is triggered and it will turn on the audible alarm. This also gives you the ability to manually enable and disable the alarm as well.

Liked the first one so much bought another one. For you pay, its a great product.

This baby is perfect for loudness and putting out and annoying siren! I have bought 2 other sirens and this one is the best! If you want a siren to scare intruders away, look no further!

Low current draw and loud. Seems in open area you can hear it clearly up to about 500 feet and it uses very little power to do it. This is a winner after trying more than a dozen other sirens.

This is a great siren...especially for the $$$. Have it hooked up to a relay connected to a 12v power supply and Arduino microcontroller being controlling by my Hubitat (home automation hub). It triggers very quickly and is very loud. The pitch is such that it seems to echo all throughout the house and can even be heard outside. For the price, I wouldnt hesitate to buy again. Just purchased a second to place under the eves outside.

My system was made for a wireless zwave model so I did not evern get to see this at work. Being a Honeywell item I am sure it works fine. I just could not use with my system.

I got this to build out the security side of my home automation system. When a door contact is opened or motion detected while at night, the alarm zigbee outlets switch on, turning my alarms on. No break-ins yet (and hopefully ever), but I can imagine an intruders face when faced with this siren.

I bought two sirens, this one and another brand that I thought would be as equally loud. This Honeywell Wave 2 Ademco siren was the right loudness I was looking for. It is really really LOUD!!! I demonstrated how loud it is for my neighbor she jumped with fright!!! It really scared her! It has that real security sound that would definitely get peoples attention. Ill send that other brand back.
