Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

I am using this as a high water alarm on my boat. the alarms on the market are horrible they are not loud and cost a lot, when I have my high water alarm I want people to call and complain about it. Install was simple float switch to device and thats it.

I wanted to add a siren to our home security system...whose vendor does not offer a siren. I used this siren, pulled a 12V, 500mA power supply from my box of remnants from old accessories, wired it up, and plugged into a smart plug. When I want the siren to go off, I just switch on the smart plug. The siren could be louder, but it does what I need it to do.

Extremely loud it is scary.

I got this to build out the security side of my home automation system. When a door contact is opened or motion detected while at night, the alarm zigbee outlets switch on, turning my alarms on. No break-ins yet (and hopefully ever), but I can imagine an intruders face when faced with this siren.
