Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

didnt work for me!

These units are well built and Super Loud! I am super pleased with this purchase: Price, Quality and Installation ease! Great Product!

Did not work with my Ademco system. Observed polarity but no sound. Checked with another old sounder, so I know my system works. ??

This is a great siren...especially for the $$$. Have it hooked up to a relay connected to a 12v power supply and Arduino microcontroller being controlling by my Hubitat (home automation hub). It triggers very quickly and is very loud. The pitch is such that it seems to echo all throughout the house and can even be heard outside. For the price, I wouldnt hesitate to buy again. Just purchased a second to place under the eves outside.

Doesn’t come with wiring so you’ll need to figure that out. I just split an old 9V AC/DC adaptor and attached it and it works well. That gets plugged into a smart outlet so it can be controlled with an app. I’m sure the 9V charge isn’t filling its potential for volume since it’s built for 12v but it’s still loud enough that it’ll scare someone away from our driveway.

Good quality and two tone choices is nice

It works a described. It even works with a 9 VDC 800 milliamp power supply.
