> 3 dayI am not one to need 27” or 32” monitors. Two of these give me plenty of room to do not only all the ordinary things like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations, but also edit photos in Photoshop and do book layouts in InDesign. They have great resolution and excellent color rendition. As my go-to computer for pretty much everything, I also use it for Zoom meetings. Here is the only flaw in these monitors. They have built-in speakers which work okay but I often need to use a headset. My mini desktop doesn’t have a 3.5 mm jack so when I saw that the monitors do, I figured “great!” I can use the speakers when I want and plug my headphones in when I need to. Only after I set them up did I discover the 3.5 mm jack is an input, not an output! What a dumb idea. You’re much more likely to want to use that jack for headphones, not an input. So at the very least you should include both ports. I had to use one of the USB ports on my computer to plug in a separate 3.5 mm adapter. As a former 25-year HP employee, I’m disappointed to see engineering teams similar to those I used to manage making this kind of mistake. (And yes, you can put part of the blame on me for not reading the specs more closely.)

> 3 dayThe picture quality is quite nice. A decent base gaming monitor. The screen has no bevels and breaks easily. Good midling grade monitor with FHD. Enjoyed monitor for approximately a year. This is an LCD monitor. I honestly didnt think that businesses bothered to make LCD monitors anymore since theyre so dated, costly, and environmentally unfriendly. Unfortunately its not stated anywhere in the description that its an LCD monitor or I honestly wouldnt have purchased it. My purchase ended up having deadly consequences. My cat, Bagheera, suddenly decided he really liked my monitor (after a year of using it) and bit the corner cracking the screen. A couple days later he became very ill and stopped eating. He lost 25% of his body mass. I never suspected the screen. I brought him to the vet and had tests run. The vet said that he developed jaundice from rapidly losing weight. She said the tests showed no underlying illness. She questioned if he had come into contact with any poisonous materials. Not knowing my monitor was LCD and knowing Bagheera lived in a highly controlled environment, I said no. She said the only other likely cause would be a congenital defect. Bagheera went downhill quickly and needed to be put to sleep. My friend ended up questioning if biting the screen hurt him. It then dawned on me that my monitor could possibly be an LCD. I knew the liquid layer of LCDs can contain around 30 toxic chemicals (including mercury). Turns out the monitor was an LCD. It was the only object in his limited environment that contained toxic substances. Which he also had contact with prior to illness. With LCDs being known to cause animal deaths and congenital defects more rare. Im inclined to believe it was the monitor that harmed Bagheera. In the end, it was a freak accident. No ones fault, except possibly my own. But I dont recommend pet owners risk it. You could be out a monitor, $500, and a loved companion.

> 3 dayThis was by far one of the easiest monitors Ive assembled. Literally took me less than 5 min to attach stand. Love the that height is adjustable and it has tilt as well. Picture quality is great. Some reviews stated poor picture quality or that screen was brighter on one side of that picture quality had to be fine tuned. I had none of these issues. I simply used buttons on bottom of screen to choose low blue light. Had it up and connected to my computer in less than 10 min. I highly recommend this monitor.

> 3 dayI really like this monitor. I bought two and mounted them to an adjustable stand. I returned a 27 inch Lenovo to buy two of these monitors. One star is removed for the lack of ports on these. The Lenovo had USB ports to keep cords away from my laptop. I have to buy an adapter achieve the same effect now.

Greater than one weekI had this monitor set up for about two weeks when it developed a darker/gray area in the lower left corner of the screen. It was just noticeably darker than the rest of the screen no matter what I did to the brightness. Unfortunately Id dragged my feet setting it up, so the return window had just expired and Amazon directed me to HP since it was under warranty, but assured me they would provide a refund if HP couldnt solve the problem. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with HP trouble shooting. Seemed to resolve the dark area, but in the process, managed to create a much bigger problem. The monitor would just black out entirely after 5-7 minutes regardless of whether I was using it or not. Whatever I had open on that screen would just get stuck there - it wouldnt come back to my laptop or my other external monitor unless I disconnected it. Went through the reset steps 3-4 times and got it back online, but was really frustrated. The fifth time, the monitor blacked out and wouldnt come back on at all except in super brief flashes when I unplugged and replugged the HDMI cable. 30 more minutes on the phone with HP - I have to send it back to them and hopefully will get a replacement in 2-3 weeks (4-6 business days after they receive the original monitor from me). I thought this would be a nice upgrade to get me a full dual monitor set-up alongside a very basic Acer monitor. Id by far recommend an Acer over this.

> 3 dayI want a standalone monitor that is at least 4 inches larger than my laptop screen. The way this one is made, or many it seems, I either had to put the monitor to the side, which is uncomfortable since I spend 8-12 hours a day at my laptop, or put it behind my laptop screen, in which case the laptop screen blocks a few inches of the bottom of the standalone monitor. The stand for the monitor connects to low to the back of it to allow it to stradle my laptop screen. I will have to keep looking.
