Cartridge empty? defective. Did not work and missed return deadline by 2 days. Buyer beware!!

My daughter loves that it does not look like a big black family printer. She loves the teal! I was disappointed in the shipping as the product box had a large shipping sticker on it and being a gift from Santa, this was not acceptable. I had to tear the top layer off the box off to get the decal off, and that was tough to explain to the girl.

I printed two sets of 5 pages each, then a month later, tried to use the printer again... Now it tells me these cartridges are not intended for use with this printer. I bought the color and the black ink at the same time, and they came in HP boxes, as shown, so I dont know why they dont work. Of course, after all this time, I dont have my receipts anymore. Ive had this problem with other HP printers in the past, so I dont know who the problem lies with... counterfeit cartridges, or old or what... I cannot say for certain that the problem lies with this seller. I have no way of knowing.

This ink cartridge proves the adage - HP is not in the printer business, they are in the ink business. I do not use my printer often, but each time I do, the ink has dried up. I will not buy another printer from HP - they are no good for low volume use!
