> 3 dayi got a white when i really wanted a silver, having a kid with hands in everything is the reason, and i dont like white for a device anyway. i was disappointed when i saw a white laptop instead of a silver one. the keyboard would take some getting used to also as its a tab. i noticed that the flash drive took a bit of a wiggle before jacking in also. got it today. im not so happy with it but ill give it a go since returnung it would leave me with no device.

> 3 dayMy husband and I decided to buy this as an early Christmas gift for the both of us. (More for me because I work from home and my iPad was not keeping up.) I was skeptical to buy something like this from Amazon only because I would have rather seen it in person, gotten a feel for it and all that. But Im actually very happy with this purchase and love this pc! Its fast, the touchscreen is so handy. Also the charge on this thing last for a very long time!

Greater than one weekI like almost everything about this chromebook except for the screen quality. Its bad. Its really bad. I have gotten so many bad headaches from using this. I am giving it to my son and buying another.

> 3 daySending this thing back. it has some features that i was looking for but wow what a pain. Touch screen isnt really the right word for it. it should be called pound on the screen until something happens. This automatically disqualifies it from being what I was looking for. The smart lock is the worst implemented feature that would otherwise be useful. Worst because it doesnt work. I looked online for solutions to this problem and found many, many different things that I could try to do to fix it but it is new out of the box and I dont buy electronics to fix them. I do that for a living. Leave this one at the store and search for a better brand. HP failed on this one.

Greater than one weekIve not had fewer than 2 computers, desktop and portable since 1987. When I was given this, I was impressed, as its compact and considerably lighter than a regular portable. While its useless without an internet connection, it works well at home, very light and handy. But its cheeeeeeap, very, very cheeeeaply made. Though I didnt pay for it, I am still sort of outraged that it broke after ten months of use, and while they fixed it for free, another 9 months later, it broke again. The problem was/is the power supply. The first time both plugs were replaced, according to the repair invoice and Back cover LCD and Panel kit LCD. I dont know what the last two are, but the power supply connection broke again after barely 9 months of use. Sigh. HP used to be a good company until it decided to stop building quality products and decided to compete on price. I called around, and repairing it would only be $40 more than an new machine! That hardware might not be exactly comparable, (I couldnt turn it on to check out the hardware specs), but I definitely do not recommend this product, and indeed, I no longer trust my formerly beloved HP.

> 3 dayThis item is knock off or lower quality then its suppose to be. The key board doesnt light up on the one sold from Amazon like it suppose to,the screen lighting is dingy and dull and the original to chormebook for the actual hp store or is heavier then this one.

Greater than one weekI am in grad school and I was looking for a Chromebook to use for basic web related research and most importantly for writing papers. This one was in the right price range and is doing great for me. The graphics are not great, but I am not using this for graphics. If you are looking for something to write on and take care of basic web related stuff, I highly recommend this.
