I bought this for my 2nd grader and it is perfect. The battery life lasts and you can download apps and access the Internet for school learning apps. You can also watch videos on it without worrying about the visual effects. Great buy!

Ive not had fewer than 2 computers, desktop and portable since 1987. When I was given this, I was impressed, as its compact and considerably lighter than a regular portable. While its useless without an internet connection, it works well at home, very light and handy. But its cheeeeeeap, very, very cheeeeaply made. Though I didnt pay for it, I am still sort of outraged that it broke after ten months of use, and while they fixed it for free, another 9 months later, it broke again. The problem was/is the power supply. The first time both plugs were replaced, according to the repair invoice and Back cover LCD and Panel kit LCD. I dont know what the last two are, but the power supply connection broke again after barely 9 months of use. Sigh. HP used to be a good company until it decided to stop building quality products and decided to compete on price. I called around, and repairing it would only be $40 more than an new machine! That hardware might not be exactly comparable, (I couldnt turn it on to check out the hardware specs), but I definitely do not recommend this product, and indeed, I no longer trust my formerly beloved HP.

I love this computer and its so versatile.

Wife loves this thing! Loves the touch screen feature. Found it here cheaper than anywhere else. Bought this to replace her aging tablet. She likes being able to actually type emails for work.

I got this used and it is just as if it was brand new! It is a lot more convenient than the other one I have plus I love everything HP makes!

I ended up getting this Chromebook for basically one express purpose: story editing.

I was skeptical to buy this after reading some of the reviews. But I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway and Im completely satisfied with my purchase. 3 months later and I dont really have anything negative to say. Im not a heavy user, I mostly use it for web browsing so memory hasnt been an issue. It literally takes seconds to power up. Its so fast. Definitely worth it for me.

HP - very disappointed with my experience with your brand. My daughters chromebook quit working altogether and I followed all of your teams instructions to have it returned. First, you wanted to charge me which I found odd. Then, I was told that if I purchased the extended warranty I wouldnt have to pay for shipping to have the defective product fixed. Really? Next, Im told that I cant get the product back until almost April, or at least that is the best case scenario. 2 of your reps told me this was the case... I explained that if it was mine for personal use Id probably deal with it although still be disappointed. However, my daughter uses the chromebook for school so waiting until April really isnt an option. Its already been almost 2 weeks since it quit.
