> 24 hourThis is nothing more than an Valve Index base station in HTC packaging. And while the price is $50 more than what Steam lists theirs at, you get less in the box. The Steam version includes: a 15 power cable, Mounting Equipment, Regional Power Adapters, and a cleaning cloth. Dont Buy HTCs version unless Steams listing is Out of Stock or unavailable in your region.

> 24 hourConfirmed compatible with the Valve Index, but mounting hardware is not included. Box contains literally just the sensor, and the power brick.

> 24 hourIt was a choice between getting it here for $200 or from valve for $150 + weeks waiting. It just comes down to how much you value your time but its the exact same thing.

> 24 hourso I ordered 2 of these and 1st 1 I opened was new with protective sticker over face and power supply in bag. the 2nd 1 I opened was missing protective sticker, had minor scratches and smudges and power supply didnt have a bag and no twist tie with fingerprints. ok I can live with that, then I plug it in everything looks good for 2 seconds then I get the flashing red light indicating hardware failure... not cool

> 24 hourThis Base Station works quite well for SteamVR

> 24 hourCable is shorter and arrives bent up, so it doesnt flow down the wall very well. No mount kit, or stand. You pay $50 more, just to get less. I guess if you absolutely cant wait (like me) then get this. Youll prolly be disappointed though.

> 24 hourAfter 5 days of using this one base station for VRChat because full-body tracking is the best, the base station started flashing red which indicated hardware failure. It was essentially bricked for those who dont know about the possibility of the rotor just straight up failing. Granted, it did work but not for long. If you want the same base station at a lower cost, just get it off Steam when they restock. They are good at replacing broken base stations unlike HTC with their nightmarish customer support and it comes with mounts and a better power brick. If theyre out of stock, just order a 1.0 since the only difference is a wider area coverage for bigger rooms when it comes to the 2.0.

> 24 hourI only bought this because I was desperate for more stations, as steam was out of stock. know that the vive (this) version has no mounting hardware, and is 50 dollars more expensive for your trouble
