Pretty easy to setup and use.

These things are overpriced, anyway - they charge what they can get away with. If you can get them from Valve, do so - youll save fifty bucks, which is still a rip off, but less so. And while these are functionally the same as Valves, they dont come with mounting gear, and the power cord is insultingly short. But if youre desperate for some base stations, these are better than nothing. The problem is HTC seems to be counting on that.

This base station is $50 more than what steam is selling it for and it does not come with -ANY- mounting hardware or even screws. You gotta do what you gotta do but they are clearly taking advantage of the current situation.

Im disappointed with this product. The cord is far shorter than the one that Valve sells, but this one costs over fifty dollars more. I would recommend waiting for a valve restock to get base stations instead of buying this from HTC.

Waste of money. The product arrived with the bag opened, the box partially damaged, and partially opened. And I paid for a working product and I got a busted base station that immediately started flashing red when I plugged it in. And I checked various support pages on steam and google that say the red light means it’s broken and not fixable at home. Fast delivery, but a totally unacceptable product delivery

Well, you get a tracker... Thats it, no base stand nor the original charge cable. Just a short charge cable. Feeling kind of ripped off with the base stand not being included.

Let me start this by saying I don’t know if this is the products fault, Amazon’s fault, or both. I bought two to begin with earlier this year as an upgrade from the 1.0 models. Let’s call them #1 and #2. They have worked perfectly fine since buying them. Now after a few months I have expanded my play space and decided to buy two more stations. They arrived and #3 worked perfectly but #4 had a blinking red light from the beginning. Hardware malfunction with no fix. Had to get a replacement. Once that arrives, I plug it in the have the same issue. A third base station and I finally have a working one. Then after about a week of playing with all four, #3 which seemed to be working fine, starts to show a blinking red light with no one touching or moving it. I have a replacement for #3 on the way as of writing this. Hopefully this one works when it gets here and stays working.

So yeah. It is more expensive and you get less than what Valve gives you. But it works and you can order it whenever. The 2.0 arrived after a week, which was sooner than the 2 weeks they suggested it would take. Ill take what I can get if Valve is out of stock.

Now with wide-area tracking, base station 2.0 powers the presence and immersion of room-scale, virtual reality by helping the Vive Pro or Vive Pro eye headsets and Controllers track their exact locations. Features wireless syncing.
