Greater than one weekMine were scratched up and didnt have the film to prevent it that others come with, and beyond that, these are about 30% overpriced compared to a number of other options, and offer fewer features. you get no wiring to plug them into your computer, and even the power cable is cheaper and angled sideways, resulting it unnecessary strain, even if its less obstructive to other plugs than others would be. as the cherry on top, theres no mounting bracket, so if you get these, youll also need one of those. its a standard camera screw, I believe, but mine is still printing out (thank the fact that patents end for 3D printers, am I right?) I think its supposed to be laser based, so I hope these scratches dont affect its accuracy. UPDATE: one was DOA. I suggest you look at a different one.

> 3 daySo yeah. It is more expensive and you get less than what Valve gives you. But it works and you can order it whenever. The 2.0 arrived after a week, which was sooner than the 2 weeks they suggested it would take. Ill take what I can get if Valve is out of stock.

> 3 dayIt was easy to set up and install. Once you plug it in and turn on SteamVR it takes care of the setup on its own with only a single button press. You dont even need to reconfigure your playspace, it just integrates itself right in. It does not come with a mounting bracket, so make sure you pick one up when you buy this.

> 3 dayI have a valve index with four 2.0 base stations. The tracking is impeccable. I have had one base station go bad and it was replaced no questions asked. Great product great service.

> 3 dayHavent been able to use the one I got yet because they are not compatible with the first generation base stations. Dont expect to buy only one and have it work with the old ones you already have. Buy two.

Greater than one weekWorth the extra 50$ cause valve unable to stay instock or ship within the 1week window and paying 200$ for each too get em 1 or 2 days on time instead of waiting the long 2-3 mouths anyway going from og vive base stations 1.0 to 2.0 huge improvement uses bluetooth to update the hardware easy set up easy to do from the pc change the base stations channel on the pc and not move or touch the base stations to update or fix note be sure to turn off base stations when your done using em so they last longer hope this helps all questions buyers have

Greater than one weekso I ordered 2 of these and 1st 1 I opened was new with protective sticker over face and power supply in bag. the 2nd 1 I opened was missing protective sticker, had minor scratches and smudges and power supply didnt have a bag and no twist tie with fingerprints. ok I can live with that, then I plug it in everything looks good for 2 seconds then I get the flashing red light indicating hardware failure... not cool

> 3 dayIt was a choice between getting it here for $200 or from valve for $150 + weeks waiting. It just comes down to how much you value your time but its the exact same thing.

> 3 dayAfter 5 days of using this one base station for VRChat because full-body tracking is the best, the base station started flashing red which indicated hardware failure. It was essentially bricked for those who dont know about the possibility of the rotor just straight up failing. Granted, it did work but not for long. If you want the same base station at a lower cost, just get it off Steam when they restock. They are good at replacing broken base stations unlike HTC with their nightmarish customer support and it comes with mounts and a better power brick. If theyre out of stock, just order a 1.0 since the only difference is a wider area coverage for bigger rooms when it comes to the 2.0.
