I liked the felt sheath holder - the reason why I chose this particular rat tail comb. I only got the rat tail comb, not the second regular comb as pictured. That was fine, the price was good for the quality comb and holder that I did receive. Well packaged.

I am a ballroom dancer and struggled to find a comb that would help me make straight parts and smooth flyaways and textures after hair spraying. This brush really does the trick! It is also very comfortable for daily combing, parting, and styling. So glad I purchased and would recommend to every single person who has hair to style! :)

I bought this for parting my daughters 3c / 4a hair when protective styling. I got it last week and used it for the first time last night to part for some simple puffs. It was SO much easier to get a straight part with the fine metal tip than with either our bone rat-tail comb or plastic rat-tail pic. I dont think I will use the actual comb part--its too fine-toothed for either my hair or my little girls. But I love the metal tail; its just perfect for what I bought it for. And I was sold on this particular comb because it comes with the felted case to protect the comb from breaking, protect the people handling it from getting stabbed, and protect surfaces and other tools from getting scratched or stabbed while its in storage. I put my mother’s hair into a French twist with a great deal of back combing ! This comb has been the best rat tail I have found. Typically they have teeth the break easily, are cheap quality and difficult to hold. This comb is intact, easy to hold, the pointed end is shattered enough to separate hair. Highly recommended.

What I like about this product is that it’s sturdy and gets the job done! The comb does not feel cheap! Has texture to it and it feels premium it withstands heat. I use it when I’m flat ironing my hair to chase comb it and, to part as well.

Nothing bad to say about this little comb. Quality is great for my installs, and the little covering it comes with is just great, too! I’ve never had a metal rat tail comb but I’m pleasantly surprised with this, plus the shipping was on point!
